Luke 22: 16-20
17 And taking the cup, giving thanks, He said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves, 18 for I say to you, I shall certainly not drink of the fruit of the vine until the reign of Elohim comes.” 19 And taking bread, giving thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you, do this in remembrance of Me.” 20 Likewise the cup also, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood which is shed for you.
Mark 14: 22-25
22 And as they were eating, יהושע took bread, having blessed, broke it, gave it to them and said, “Take, eat, this is My body.” 23 And taking the cup, giving thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. 24 And He said to them, “This is My blood, that of the new covenant, which is shed for many. 25 “Truly, I say to you, I shall certainly no more drink of the fruit of the vine till that day when I drink it anew in the reign of Elohim.”
Matt 26: 26-29
26 And as they were eating, יהושע took bread, and having blessed, broke and gave it to the taught ones and said, “Take, eat, this is My body.” 27 And taking the cup, and giving thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 “For this is My blood, that of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 “But I say to you, I shall certainly not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on till that day when I drink it anew with you in the reign of My Father.”
1 John: 5
1 Everyone who believes that יהושע is the Messiah has been born of Elohim, and everyone who loves the One bringing forth also loves the one having been born of Him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim and guard His commands. 3 For this is the love for Elohim, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not heavy, 4 because everyone having been born of Elohim overcomes the world. And this is the overcoming that has overcome the world: our belief (Hebrews 11). 5 Who is the one who overcomes the world but he who believes that יהושע is the Son of Elohim? 6 This is the One that came by water and blood: יהושע Messiah, not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is the Truth. 7 Because there are three who bear witness (Masoretic text added text here that does not exist) 8 the Spirit, the water, and the blood. And the three are in agreement. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of Elohim is greater, because this is the witness of Elohim which He has witnessed concerning His Son. 10 The one who believes in the Son of Elohim has the witness in himself, the one who does not believe Elohim has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the witness that Elohim has given concerning His Son (Immersion Of יהושע) 11 And this is the witness: that Elohim has given us everlasting life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who possesses the Son possesses life, he who does not possess the Son of Elohim does not possess life. 13 I have written this to you who believe in the Name of the Son of Elohim, so that you know that you possess everlasting life, and so that you believe in the Name of the Son of Elohim. 14 And this is the boldness that we have in Him, that if we ask whatever according to His desire, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin, not unto death, he shall ask, and He shall give him life for those not sinning unto death. There is a sin unto death. I do not say that he should pray about that. 17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not unto death. 18 We know that everyone having been born of Elohim does not sin, but the one having been born of Elohim guards himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 19 We know that we are of Elohim, and all the world lies in the wicked one(John 12). 20 And we know that the Son of Elohim has come and has given us an understanding, so that we might know the true One. And we are in the true One, in His Son יהושע Messiah. This is the true Elohim and everlasting life. 21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
Why would John tell us that if we love יהוה to guard His Commands if they have been done away with? Why wouldn’t John inform us the old ways have been nailed to the cross? Why would he tell us they are not heavy?
1 John 3:4
Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
Why would John need to explain what sin is?

How do we apply this to modern times?
What does this have to do with us?
The Torah explains sin.
Sin separates us from יהוה. John told us if we love Him then we are keep and guard His Commands. The Torah is our guide to grow closer to Him.
I Pray this Study will help
A modern-day believer at some point you will be caught up in a discussion about The Covenant. This conversation is either short and to the point, or long, heavy and spoken with contention. The idea of this study is prepare you when this conversation happens internally. Not knowing what this word means, causes confusion and leads to misunderstanding. Below is a short etymological history of the word.
{-The word "covenant" appears 292 times in the Bible. It is used 272 times in the Old Testament with 8 of these times not having a Hebrew word associated with it. At these times, the word was inserted in the translation usually for clarification. It is used 20 times in the New Testament, 3 of these were editorial insertions for clarification without having a Greek word connected to it. In the Old Testament, only one word is used for "covenant" and that is the Hebrew word "Beriyth" (ber-eeth), Strong's No. 1285. Also in the New Testament only one word is used for "covenant", the Greek word "Diatheke" (dee-ath-ay-kay), Strong's No. 1242.
Analyzing the Hebrew word "Beriyth" we find that it comes from "Barah" (baw-raw) Strong's No. 1262 and a primitive root meaning "to select" in the sense of another primitive root word "Bara" (baw-raw) Strong's No, 1254 that means to create, to cut down. Hence "Beriyth" has the meaning of selectively "cutting a compact" as in passing between pieces of flesh, the exact proscribed manner Elohim chose to proffer a covenant to Abram found in Genesis 15:7-11, 17-18. It also has the meaning of confederacy covenant and even league as "in league with them". Thus the proper translation of this word all 266 times it appears throughout the Old Testament conveys the meaning of cutting a covenant relationship and implies the shedding of blood in the process (i.e. between pieces of flesh).
The New Testament word for "covenant" is the Greek word Diatheke (1242) which has an interesting etymological history. The definition of Diatheke is a contract (especially a devisory will), a covenant, or a testament. It is derived from 1303 Diatithemai (to put apart) which in turn is derived from Dia (1223) a primary preposition denoting the channel of an act, in very wide applications the idea of through, and Tithemi (5037) a prolonged primary of Theo whose meaning is "to place", properly used to denote in a passive or horizontal posture. Thus, we have the idea conveyed of a covenant that passes through something that was "put apart" and is reposing in a passive or horizontal posture. This is the exact picture found in Genesis 15:17-18 where the halves of the 3 year old heifer, she-goat, and ram are spread apart in a horizontal position while Elohim walks between the halves. Although no mention is made, or alluded to, of shed blood, the imagery (from the Genesis account) seems to connote this.}
We see that both the Hebrew word "Beriyth" and the Greek word "Diatheke" have the implied meaning of the shedding of blood to enter into a bond, contract aka a covenant. I’m sure you have heard of the term "cutting of a covenant”.
So what does this article say in simple terms? Lets step back and examine it.
A covenant is the physical act of entering into a relationship with a set contract, initiated by the shedding of blood, and confirmed by the physical actions of the participants.
The covenant is stated.
The blood is shed.
The blood begins the relationship/covenant.
The relationship is confirmed by the physical fulfillment of the covenant.
The Covenant is fulfilled.
Example Jacob and Laban.

1 And in the seventh year, Jacob's service which he served Laban was completed, and Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my wife, for the days of my service are fulfilled; and Laban did so, and Laban and Jacob assembled all the people of that place and they made a feast. 2 And in the evening Laban came to the house, and afterward Jacob came there with the people of the feast, and Laban extinguished all the lights that were there in the house. 3 And Jacob said unto Laban, Wherefore dost thou do this thing unto us? and Laban answered, Such is our custom to act in this land. 4 And afterward Laban took his daughter Leah, and he brought her to Jacob, and he came to her and Jacob did not know that she was Leah.5 And Laban gave his daughter Leah his maid Zilpah for a handmaid. 6 And all the people at the feast knew what Laban had done to Jacob, but they did not tell the thing to Jacob. 7 And all the neighbors came that night to Jacob's house, and they ate and drank and rejoiced, and played before Leah upon timbrels, and with dances, and they responded before Jacob, Heleah, Heleah. 8 And Jacob heard their words but did not understand their meaning, but he thought such might be their custom in this land. 9 And the neighbors spoke these words before Jacob during the night, and all the lights that were in the house Laban had that night extinguished. 10 And in the morning, when daylight appeared, Jacob turned to his wife and he saw, and behold it was Leah that had been lying in his bosom, and Jacob said, Behold now I know what the neighbors said last night, Heleah, they said, and I knew it not. 11 And Jacob called unto Laban, and said unto him, What is this that thou didst unto me? Surely I served thee for Rachel, and why didst thou deceive me and didst give me Leah? 12 And Laban answered Jacob, saying, Not so is it done in our place to give the younger before the elder now therefore if thou desirest to take her sister likewise, take her unto thee for the service which thou wilt serve me for another seven years. 13 And Jacob did so, and he also took Rachel for a wife, and he served Laban seven years more, and Jacob also came to Rachel, and he loved Rachel more than Leah, and Laban gave her his maid Bilhah for a handmaid. 14 And when יהוה saw that Leah was hated, יהוה opened her womb, and she conceived and bare Jacob four sons in those days. 15 And these are their names, Reuben Simeon, Levi, and Judah, and she afterward left bearing. 16 And at that time Rachel was barren, and she had no offspring, and Rachel envied her sister Leah, and when Rachel saw that she bare no children to Jacob, she took her handmaid Bilhah, and she bare Jacob two sons, Dan and Naphtali. 17 And when Leah saw that she had left bearing, she also took her handmaid Zilpah, and she gave her to Jacob for a wife, and Jacob also came to Zilpah, and she also bare Jacob two sons, Gad and Asher. 18 And Leah again conceived and bare Jacob in those days two sons and one daughter, and these are their names, Issachar, Zebulon, and their sister Dinah. 19 And Rachel was still barren in those days, and Rachel prayed unto יהוה at that time, and she said, O יהוה Elohim remember me and visit me, I beseech thee, for now my husband will cast me off, for I have borne him no children. 20 Now O יהוה Elohim, hear my supplication before thee, and see my affliction, and give me children like one of the handmaids, that I may no more bear my reproach. 21 And Elohim heard her and opened her womb, and Rachel conceived and bare a son, and she said, יהוה has taken away my reproach, and she called his name Joseph, saying, May יהוה add to me another son; and Jacob hearkened unto them in this which his mother had spoken. 24 At that time, the other seven years which Jacob served Laban for Rachel were completed, and it was at the end of fourteen years that he had dwelt in Haran that Jacob said unto Laban, give me my wives and send me away, that I may go to my land, for behold my mother did send unto me from the land at Canaan that I should return to my father's house. 25 And Laban said unto him, Not so I pray thee; if I have found favor in thy sight do not leave me; appoint me thy wages and I will give them, and remain with me. 26 And Jacob said unto him, This is what thou shalt give me for wages, that I shall this day pass through all thy flock and take away from them every lamb that is speckled and spotted and such as are brown amongst the sheep, and amongst the goats, and if thou wilt do this thing for me I will return and feed thy flock and keep them as at first. 27 And Laban did so, and Laban removed from his flock all that Jacob had said and gave them to him. 28 And Jacob placed all that he had removed from Laban's flock in the hands of his sons, and Jacob was feeding the remainder of Laban's flock. 29 And when the servants of Isaac which he had sent unto Jacob saw that Jacob would not then return with them to the land of Canaan to his father, they then went away from him, and they returned home to the land of Canaan. 30 And Deborah remained with Jacob in Haran, and she did not return with the servants of Isaac to the land of Canaan, and Deborah resided with Jacob's wives and children in Haran. 31 And Jacob served Laban six years longer, and when the sheep brought forth, Jacob removed from them such as were speckled and spotted, as he had determined with Laban, and Jacob did so at Laban's for six years, and the man increased abundantly and he had cattle and maid servants and men servants, camels, and asses. 32 And Jacob had two hundred drove of cattle, and his cattle were of large size and of beautiful appearance and were very productive, and all the families of the sons of men desired to get some of the cattle of Jacob, for they were exceedingly prosperous. 33 And many of the sons of men came to procure some of Jacob's flock, and Jacob gave them a sheep for a man servant or a maid servant or for an ass or a camel, or whatever Jacob desired from them they gave him. 34 And Jacob obtained riches and honor and possessions by means of these transactions with the sons of men, and the children of Laban envied him of this honor. 35 And in the course of time he heard the words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob has taken away all that was our father's, and of that which was our father's has he acquired all this glory. 36 And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban and of his children, and behold it was not toward him in those days as it had been before. 37 And יהוה appeared to Jacob at the expiration of the six years, and said unto him, Arise, go forth out of this land, and return to the land of thy birthplace and I will be with thee. 38 And Jacob rose up at that time and he mounted his children and wives and all belonging to him upon camels, and he went forth to go to the land of Canaan to his father Isaac. 39 And Laban did not know that Jacob had gone from him, for Laban had been that day sheep-shearing. 40 And Rachel stole her father's images, and she took them and she concealed them upon the camel upon which she sat, and she went on. 41 And this is the manner of the images; in taking a man who is the first born and slaying him and taking the hair off his head, and taking salt and salting the head and anointing it in oil, then taking a small tablet of copper or a tablet of gold and writing the name upon it, and placing the tablet under his tongue, and taking the head with the tablet under the tongue and putting it in the house, and lighting up lights before it and bowing down to it. 42 And at the time when they bow down to it, it speaketh to them in all matters that they ask of it, through the power of the name which is written in it. 43 And some make them in the figures of men, of gold and silver, and go to them in times known to them, and the figures receive the influence of the stars, and tell them future things, and in this manner were the images which Rachel stole from her father. 44 And Rachel stole these images which were her father's, in order that Laban might not know through them where Jacob had gone. 45 And Laban came home and he asked concerning Jacob and his household, and he was not to be found, and Laban sought his images to know where Jacob had gone, and could not find them, and he went to some other images, and he inquired of them and they told him that Jacob had fled from him to his father's, to the land of Canaan. 46 And Laban then rose up and he took his brothers and all his servants, and he went forth and pursued Jacob, and he overtook him in mount Gilead. 47 And Laban said unto Jacob, What is this thou hast done to me to flee and deceive me, and lead my daughters and their children as captives taken by the sword? 48 And thou didst not suffer me to kiss them and send them away with joy, and thou didst steal my gods and didst go away. 49 And Jacob answered Laban, saying, Because I was afraid lest thou wouldst take thy daughters by force from me; and now with whomsoever thou find thy gods he shall die. 50 And Laban searched for the images and he examined in all Jacob's tents and furniture, but could not find them. 51 And Laban said unto Jacob, We will make a covenant together and it shall be a testimony between me and thee; if thou shalt afflict my daughters, or shalt take other wives besides my daughters, even Elohim shall be a witness between me and thee in this matter. 52 And they took stones and made a heap, and Laban said, This heap is a witness between me and thee, therefore he called the name thereof Gilead. 53 And Jacob and Laban offered sacrifice upon the mount, and they ate there by the heap, and they tarried in the mount all night, and Laban rose up early in the morning, and he wept with his daughters and he kissed them, and he returned unto his place. 54 And he hastened and sent off his son Beor, who was seventeen years old, with Abichorof the son of Uz, the son of Nahor, and with them were ten men. 55 And they hastened and went and passed on the road before Jacob, and they came by another road to the land of Seir. 56 And they came unto Esau and said unto him, Thus saith thy brother and relative, thy mother's brother Laban, the son of Bethuel, saying, 57 Hast thou heard what Jacob thy brother has done unto me, who first came to me naked and bare, and I went to meet him, and brought him to my house with honor, and I made him great, and I gave him my two daughters for wives and also two of my maids. 58 And Elohim blessed him on my account, and he increased abundantly, and had sons, daughters and maid servants. 59 He has also an immense stock of flocks and herds, camels and asses, also silver and gold in abundance; and when he saw that his wealth increased, he left me whilst I went to shear my sheep, and he rose up and fled in secrecy. 60 And he lifted his wives and children upon camels, and he led away all his cattle and property which he acquired in my land, and he lifted up his countenance to go to his father Isaac, to the land of Canaan. 61 And he did not suffer me to kiss my daughters and their children, and he led my daughters as captives taken by the sword, and he also stole my gods and he fled. 62 And now I have left him in the mountain of the brook of Jabuk, him and all belonging to him; he lacketh nothing. 63 If it be thy wish to go to him, go then and there wilt thou find him, and thou canst do unto him as thy soul desireth; and Laban's messengers came and told Esau all these things. 64 And Esau heard all the words of Laban's messengers, and his anger was greatly kindled against Jacob, and he remembered his hatred, and his anger burned within him. 65 And Esau hastened and took his children and servants and the souls of his household, being sixty men, and he went and assembled all the children of Seir the Horite and their people, being three hundred and forty men, and took all this number of four hundred men with drawn swords, and he went unto Jacob to smite him. 66 And Esau divided this number into several parts, and he took the sixty men of his children and servants and the souls of his household as one head, and gave them in care of Eliphaz his eldest son. 67 And the remaining heads he gave to the care of the six sons of Seir the Horite, and he placed every man over his generations and children. 68 And the whole of this camp went as it was, and Esau went amongst them toward Jacob, and he conducted them with speed. 69 And Laban's messengers departed from Esau and went to the land of Canaan, and they came to the house of Rebecca the mother of Jacob and Esau. 70 And they told her saying, Behold thy son Esau has gone against his brother Jacob with four hundred men, for he heard that he was coming, and he is gone to make war with him, and to smite him and to take all that he has. 71 And Rebecca hastened and sent seventy two men from the servants of Isaac to meet Jacob on the road; for she said, Peradventure, Esau may make war in the road when he meets him. 72 And these messengers went on the road to meet Jacob, and they met him in the road of the brook on the opposite side of the brook Jabuk, and Jacob said when he saw them, This camp is destined to me from Elohim, and Jacob called the name of that place Machnayim. 73 And Jacob knew all his father's people, and he kissed them and embraced them and came with them, and Jacob asked them concerning his father and mother, and they said, They were well. 74 And these messengers said unto Jacob, Rebecca thy mother has sent us to thee, saying, I have heard, my son, that thy brother Esau has gone forth against thee on the road with men from the children of Seir the Horite. 75 And therefore, my son, hearken to my voice and see with thy counsel what thou wilt do, and when he cometh up to thee, supplicate him, and do not speak rashly to him, and give him a present from what thou possess, and from what Elohim has favored thee with. 76 And when he asks thee concerning thy affairs, conceal nothing from him, perhaps he may turn from his anger against thee and thou wilt thereby save thy soul, thou and all belonging to thee, for it is thy duty to honor him, for he is thy elder brother. 77 And when Jacob heard the words of his mother which the messengers had spoken to him, Jacob lifted up his voice and wept bitterly, and did as his mother then commanded him.
Genesis 31:43-55
43 And Laban answered and said to Jacob, The daughters are my daughters, and the sons my sons, and the cattle are my cattle, and all things which thou see are mine, and the property of my daughters; what shall I do to them today, or their children which they bore? 44 Now then come, let me make a covenant, both I and thou, and it shall be for a witness between me and thee; and he said to him, Behold, there is no one with us; behold, Elohim is witness between me and thee. 45 And Jacob having taken a stone, set it up for a pillar. 46 And Jacob said to his brethren, Gather stones; and they gathered stones and made a heap, and ate there upon the heap; and Laban said to him, This heap witnesses between me and thee today. 47 And Laban called it, the Heap of Testimony; and Jacob called it, the Witness Heap. 48 And Laban said to Jacob, Behold this heap, and the pillar, which I have set between me and thee; this heap witnesses, and this pillar witnesses; therefore its name was called, the Heap witnesses. 49 And the vision of which he said Let Elohim look to it between me and thee, because we are about to depart from each other, 50 If thou shalt humble my daughters, if thou shouldest take wives in addition to my daughters, see, there is no one with us looking on. Elohim is witness between me and thee. 51 And Laban said to Jacob, Behold, this heap, and this pillar are a witness. 52 For if I should not cross over unto thee, neither shouldest thou cross over to me, for mischief beyond this heap and this pillar. 53 The Elohim of Abraam and the Elohim of Nachor judge between us; and Jacob swore by the Fear of his father Isaac. 54 And he offered a sacrifice in the mountain, and called his brethren, and they ate and drank, and slept in the mountain. 55 And Laban rose up in the morning, and kissed his sons and his daughters, and blessed them; and Laban having turned back, departed to his place.
Jasher 31:51-53
51 And Laban said unto Jacob, We will make a covenant together and it shall be a testimony between me and thee; if thou shalt afflict my daughters, or shalt take other wives besides my daughters, even Elohim shall be a witness between me and thee in this matter. 52 And they took stones and made a heap, and Laban said, This heap is a witness between me and thee, therefore he called the name thereof Gilead. 53 And Jacob and Laban offered sacrifice upon the mount, and they ate there by the heap, and they tarried in the mount all night, and Laban rose up early in the morning, and he wept with his daughters and he kissed them, and he returned unto his place.
Notice that Laban and Jacob agreed upon a set of rules, a contract and then offered a shedding of blood and are now living out the physical fulfillment of that covenant. While trusting the other will do the same.
Think of how a marriage between a man and woman is consummated, and how their lives look different after the point of entering into an agreement to enter into covenant (engagement/katuba). Then think of once that marriage contract is completed and your officially married aka in covenant.
For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

John 17:21-24
21 so that they all might be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, so that they too might be one in Us, so that the world might believe that You have sent Me. 22“And the esteem which You gave Me I have given them, so that they might be one as We are one, 23“I in them, and You in Me, so that they might be perfected into one, so that the world knows that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. 24“Father, I desire that those whom You have given Me, might be with Me where I am, so that they see My esteem which You have given Me, because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Now lets read and examine some of these Covenants.
Noah's Covenant
Covenant Sign- Rainbow Genesis 9: 12-14
Genesis 9: 1-17
1 And Elohim blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, Increase and multiply, and fill the earth and have dominion over it. 2 And the dread and the fear of you shall be upon all the wild beasts of the earth, on all the birds of the sky, and on all things moving upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea, I have placed them under your power. 3 And every reptile which is living shall be to you for meat, I have given all things to you as the green herbs. 4 But flesh with blood of life ye shall not eat. 5 For your blood of your lives will I require at the hand of all wild beasts, and I will require the life of man at the hand of his brother man. 6 He that sheds man's blood, instead of that blood shall his own be shed, for in the image of Elohim I made man. 7 But do ye increase and multiply, and fill the earth, and have dominion over it. 8 And Elohim spoke to Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, 9 And behold I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you, 10 and with every living creature with you, of birds and of beasts, and with all the wild beasts of the earth, as many as are with you, of all that come out of the ark. 11 And I will establish my covenant with you and all flesh shall not anymore die by the water of the flood, and there shall no more be a flood of water to destroy all the earth. 12 And יהוה said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I set between me and you, and between every living creature which is with you for perpetual generations. 13 I set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of covenant between me and the earth. 14 And it shall be when I gather clouds upon the earth, that my bow shall be seen in the cloud. 15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you, and between every living soul in all flesh, and there shall no longer be water for a deluge, so as to blot out all flesh. 16 And my bow shall be in the cloud, and I will look to remember the everlasting covenant between me and the earth, and between every living soul in all flesh, which is upon the earth. 17 And Elohim said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant, which I have made between me and all flesh, which is upon the earth

1 And יהוה said to Abram, Go forth out of thy land and out of thy kindred, and out of the house of thy father, and come into the land which I will shew thee. 2 And I will make thee a great nation, and I will bless thee and magnify thy name, and thou shalt be blessed. 3 And I will bless those that bless thee, and curse those that curse thee, and in thee shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed. 4 And Abram went as יהוה spoke to him, and Lot departed with him, and Abram was seventy-five years old, when he went out of Charrhan. 5 And Abram took Sara his wife, and Lot the son of his brother, and all their possessions, as many as they had got, and every soul which they had got in Charrhan, and they went forth to go into the land of Chanaan. 6 And Abram traversed the land lengthwise as far as the place Sychem, to the high oak, and the Chananites then inhabited the land. 7 And יהוה appeared to Abram, and said to him, I will give this land to thy seed. And Abram built an altar there to יהוה who appeared to him. 8 And he departed thence to the mountain eastward of Baethel, and there he pitched his tent in Baethel near the sea, and Aggai toward the east, and there he built an altar to יהוה, and called on the name of יהוה. 9 And Abram departed and went and encamped in the wilderness.
Genesis 13:14-18
14 And Elohim said to Abram after Lot was separated from him, Look up with thine eyes, and behold from the place where thou now art northward and southward, and eastward and seaward; 15 for all the land which thou sees, I will give it to thee and to thy seed forever. 16 And I will make thy seed like the dust of the earth; if anyone is able to number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed be numbered. 17 Arise and traverse the land, both in the length of it and in the breadth; for to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever. 18 And Abram having removed his tent, came and dwelt by the oak of Mambre, which was in Chebrom, and he there built an altar to יהוה.

1 And after these things The Word of יהוה came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, I shield thee, thy reward shall be very great. 2 And Abram said, Sovereign יהוה, what wilt thou give me? whereas I am departing without a child, but the son of Masek my home-born female slave, this Eliezer of Damascus is mine heir. 3 And Abram said, I am grieved since thou hast given me no seed, but my home-born servant shall succeed me. 4 And immediately The Word of יהוה said to him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come out of thee shall be thine heir. 5 And he brought him out and said to him, Look up now to heaven, and count the stars, if thou shalt be able to number them fully, and he said, Thus shall thy seed be. 6 And Abram believed Elohim, and it was counted to him for righteousness. 7 And he said to him, I am Elohim that brought thee out of the land of the Chaldeans, so as to give thee this land to inherit. 8 And he said, Sovereign יהוה, how shall I know that I shall inherit it? 9 And he said to him, Take for me a heifer in her third year, and a she-goat in her third year, and a ram in his third year, and a dove and a pigeon. 10 So he took to him all these, and divided them in the midst, and set them opposite to each other, but the birds he did not divide. 11 And birds came down upon the bodies, even upon the divided parts of them, and Abram sat down by them. 12 And about sunset a trance fell upon Abram, and lo! a great gloomy terror falls upon him. 13 And it was said to Abram, Thou shalt surely know that thy seed shall be a sojourner in a land not their own, and they shall enslave them, and afflict them, and humble them four hundred years. 14 And the nation whomsoever they shall serve I will judge; and after this, they shall come forth hither with much property. 15 But thou shalt depart to thy fathers in peace, nourished in a good old age. 16 And in the fourth generation they shall return hither, for the sins of the Amorites are not yet filled up, even until now. 17 And when the sun was about to set, there was a flame, and behold a smoking furnace and lamps of fire, which passed between these divided pieces. 18 In that day יהוה made a covenant with Abram, saying, To thy seed I will give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates. 19 The Kenites, and the Kenezites, and the Kedmoneans, 20 and the Chettites, and the Pherezites, and the Raphaim, 21 and the Amorites, and the Chananites, and the Evites, and the Gergesites, and the Jebusites.
Acts 15:7-30
7 And when there had been much dispute, Kepha rose up and said to them, “Men, brothers, you know that a good while ago Elohim chose among us, that by my mouth the gentiles should hear the word of the Good News and believe. 8 “And Elohim, who knows the heart, bore witness to them, by giving them the Set-apart Spirit, as also to us, 9 and made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by belief. 10 “Now then, why do you try Elohim by putting a yoke on the neck of the taught ones which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? 11 “But through the favor of the Master יהושע Messiah we trust to be saved, in the same way as they.” 12 And all the crowd was silent and were listening to Barnabah and Sha’ul declaring how many miracles and wonders Elohim did among the gentiles, through them. 13 And after they were silent, Ya‛aqob answered, saying, “Men, brothers, listen to me: 14 “Shim‛on has declared how Elohim first visited the gentiles to take out of them a people for His Name. 15 “And the words of the prophets agree with this, as it has been written: 16 ‘After this I shall return and rebuild the Booth of Dawid which has fallen down. And I shall rebuild its ruins, and I shall set it up, 17 so that the remnant of mankind shall seek יהוה, even all the gentiles on whom My Name has been called, says יהוה who is doing all this,’ 18 who has made this known from of old. 19 “Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the gentiles who are turning to Elohim, 20 but that we write to them to abstain from the defilements of idols, and from whoring, and from what is strangled, and from blood. 21 “For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath.” 22 Then it seemed good to the emissaries and elders, with all the assembly, to send chosen men from among them to Antioch with Sha’ul and Barnabah: Yehudah being called Barsabba, and Sila, leading men among the brothers, 23 having written by their hand this: The emissaries and the elders and the brothers, To the brothers who are of the gentiles in Antioch, and Syria, and Kilikia: Greetings. 24 Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your lives, to whom we gave no command – 25 it seemed good to us, having become of one mind, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabah and Sha’ul, 26 men who have given up their lives for the Name of our Master יהושע Messiah. 27 We have therefore sent Yehudah and Sila, who are also confirming this by word of mouth. 28 For it seemed good to the Set-apart Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessities: 29 that you abstain from what is offered to idols, and blood, and what is strangled, and whoring. If you keep yourselves from these, you shall do well. Be strong!
Galatians 5:6
6 For in Messiah יהושע neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any strength, but belief working through love.
1 Corinthians 7:18-22
18 Was anyone called while circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Was anyone called while uncircumcised? Let him not be circumcised. 19 The circumcision is naught, and the uncircumcision is naught, but the guarding of the commands of Elohim does matter! 20 Let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called. 21 Were you called while a slave? It matters not to you, but if you are able to become free too, rather use it. 22 For he who is called in the Master while a slave is the Master’s freed man. Likewise he who is called while free is a slave of Messiah.
Genesis 17:9-27
9 And Elohim said to Abraam, Thou also shalt fully keep my covenant, thou and thy seed after thee for their generations. 10 And this is the covenant which thou shalt fully keep between me and you, and between thy seed after thee for their generations; every male of you shall be circumcised. 11 And ye shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between me and you. 12 And the child of eight days old shall be circumcised by you, every male throughout your generations, and the servant born in the house and he that is bought with money, of every son of a stranger, who is not of thy seed. 13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with money shall be surely circumcised, and my covenant shall be on your flesh for an everlasting covenant. 14 And the uncircumcised male, who shall not be circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin on the eighth day, that soul shall be utterly destroyed from its family, for he has broken my covenant. 15 And Elohim said to Abraam, Sara thy wife - her name shall not be called Sara, Sarrha shall be her name. 16 And I will bless her, and give thee a son of her, and I will bless him, and he shall become nations, and kings of nations shall be of him. 17 And Abraam fell upon his face, and laughed; and spoke in his heart, saying, Shall there be a child to one who is a hundred years old, and shall Sarrha who is ninety years old, bear? 18 And Abraam said to Elohim, let this Ismael live before thee. 19 And Elohim said to Abraam, Yea, behold, Sarrha thy wife shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name Isaac; and I will establish my covenant with him, for an everlasting covenant, to be a Elohim to him and to his seed after him. 20 And concerning Ismael, behold, I have heard thee, and, behold, I have blessed him, and will increase him and multiply him exceedingly; twelve nations shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. 21 But I will establish my covenant with Isaac, whom Sarrha shall bear to thee at this time, in the next year. 22 And he left off speaking with him, and Elohim went up from Abraam. 23 And Abraam took Ismael his son, and all his home-born servants, and all those bought with money, and every male of the men in the house of Abraam, and he circumcised their foreskins in the time of that day, according as Elohim spoke to him. 24 And Abraam was ninety-nine years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. 25 And Ismael his son was thirteen years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. 26 And at the period of that day, Abraam was circumcised, and Ismael his son, 27 and all the men of his house, both those born in the house, and those bought with money of foreign nations.
Here we finally see Abraham confirming his end of the Everlasting Covenant and the shedding of blood for his house and all with him.
Deuteronomy 10:12-22
12 And now, Israel, what does יהוה thy Elohim require of thee, but to fear יהוה thy Elohim, and to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve יהוה thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul; 13 to keep the commandments of יהוה thy Elohim, and his ordinances, all that I charge thee to-day, that it may be well with thee? 14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens belong to יהוה thy Elohim, the earth and all things that are in it. 15 Only יהוה chose your fathers to love them, and he chose out their seed after them, even you, beyond all nations, as at this day. 16 Therefore ye shall circumcise the hardness of your heart, and ye shall not harden your neck. 17 For יהוה your Elohim, he is Elohim of gods, and יהוה of lord’s the great, and strong, and terrible Elohim, who does not accept persons, nor will he by any means accept a bribe: 18 executing judgment for the stranger and orphan and widow, and he loves the stranger to give him food and raiment. 19 And ye shall love the stranger; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. 20 Thou shalt fear יהוה thy Elohim, and serve him, and shalt cleave to him, and shalt swear by his name. 21 He is thy boast, and he is thy Elohim, who has wrought in the midst of thee these great and glorious things, which thine eyes have seen. 22 With seventy souls your fathers went down into Egypt; but יהוה thy Elohim has made thee as the stars of heaven in multitude.
Romans 2
1 Therefore, O man, you are without excuse, everyone who judges, for in which you judge another you condemn yourself, since you who judge practice the same wrongs. 2 And we know that the judgment of Elohim is according to truth against those who practice such wrongs. 3 And do you think, O man, you who judge those practicing such wrongs, and doing the same, that you shall escape the judgment of Elohim? 4 Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and tolerance, and patience, not knowing that the kindness of Elohim leads you to repentance? 5 But according to your hardness and your unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of Elohim, 6 who “shall render to each one according to his works”: 7 everlasting life to those who by persistence in good work seek for esteem, and respect, and incorruptibility; 8 but wrath and displeasure to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness; 9 affliction and distress on every human being working what is evil, of the Yehudite first, and also of the Greek; 10 but esteem, respect, and peace to everyone working what is good, to the Yehudite first and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with Elohim. 12 For as many as sinned without Torah shall also perish without Torah, and as many as sinned in the Torah shall be judged by the Torah. 13 For not the hearers of the Torah are righteous in the sight of Elohim, but the doers of the law shall be declared right. 14 For when gentiles, who do not have the Torah, by nature do what is in the Torah, although not having the Torah, they are a Torah to themselves, 15 who show the work of the Torah written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or even excusing, 16 in the day when Elohim shall judge the secrets of men through יהושע Messiah, according to my Good News. 17 See, you are called a Yehudite, and rest on the Torah, and make your boast in Elohim, 18 and know the desire of Elohim, and approve what is superior, being instructed out of the Torah, 19 and are trusting that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, 20 an instructor of foolish ones, a teacher of babes, having the form of knowledge and of the truth in the Torah. 21 You, then, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who proclaim that a man should not steal, do you steal? 22 You who say, “Do not commit adultery,” do you commit adultery? You who abominate idols, do you rob temples? 23 You who make your boast in the Torah, through the transgression of the Torah do you disrespect Elohim? 24 For “The Name of Elohim is blasphemed among the gentiles because of you,” as it has been written. 25 For circumcision indeed profits if you practice the Torah, but if you are a transgressor of the Torah, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. 26 So, if an uncircumcised one watches over the righteousness of the Torah, shall not his uncircumcision be reckoned as circumcision? 27 And the uncircumcised by nature, who perfects the Torah, shall judge you who notwithstanding letter and circumcision are a transgressor of the Torah! 28 For he is not a Yehudite who is so outwardly, neither is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. 29 But a Yehudite is he who is so inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart in Spirit, not literally, whose praise is not from men but from Elohim.
2 Peter 2
1 But there also came to be false prophets among the people, as also among you there shall be false teachers, who shall secretly bring in destructive heresies, and deny the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 And many shall follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of, 3 and in greed, with fabricated words, they shall use you for gain. From of old their judgment does not linger, and their destruction does not slumber. 4 For if Elohim did not spare the messengers who sinned, but sent them to Tartaros, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be kept for judgment, 5 and did not spare the world of old, but preserved Noah, a proclaimer of righteousness, and seven others, bringing in the flood on the world of the wicked, 6 and having reduced to ashes the cities of Sedom and Amorah condemned them to destruction – having made them an example to those who afterward would live wickedly, 7 and rescued righteous Lot, who was oppressed with the indecent behavior of the lawless 8 (for day after day that righteous man, dwelling among them, tortured his righteous being by seeing and hearing their lawless works), 9 then יהוה knows how to rescue the reverent ones from trial and to keep the unrighteous unto the day of judgment, to be punished, 10 and most of all those walking after the flesh in filthy lust and despising authority – bold, headstrong, speaking evil of esteemed ones, 11 whereas messengers who are greater in strength and power do not bring a slanderous accusation against them before the Master. 12 But these, like natural unreasoning beasts, having been born to be caught and destroyed, blaspheme that which they do not know, shall be destroyed in their destruction, 13 being about to receive the wages of unrighteousness, deeming indulgence in the day of pleasure, spots and blemishes, reveling in their own deceptions while they feast with you, 14 having eyes filled with an adulteress, and unable to cease from sin, enticing unstable beings, having a heart trained in greed, children of a curse, 15 having left the right way they went astray, having followed the way of Bil‛am the son of Be‛or, who loved the wages of unrighteousness, 16 but he was rebuked for his transgression: a dumb donkey speaking with the voice of a man restrained the madness of the prophet. 17 These are fountains without water, clouds driven by a storm, to whom the blackest darkness is kept forever. 18 For speaking arrogant nonsense, they entice – through the lusts of the flesh, through indecencies – the ones who have indeed escaped from those living in delusion, 19 promising them freedom, though themselves being slaves of corruption – for one is a slave to whatever overcomes him. 20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Master and Saviour יהושע Messiah, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the first. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the set-apart command delivered unto them. 22 For them the proverb has proved true, “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “A washed sow returns to her rolling in the mud.”
Genesis 22 1-19
1 And it came to pass after these things that Elohim tempted Abraam, and said to him, Abraam, Abraam; and he said, Lo! I am here. 2 And he said, Take thy son, the beloved one, whom thou hast loved - Isaac, and go into the high land, and offer him there for a whole-burnt-offering on one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. 3 And Abraam rose up in the morning and saddled his ass, and he took with him two servants, and Isaac his son, and having split wood for a whole-burnt-offering, he arose and departed, and came to the place of which Elohim spoke to him, 4 on the third day; and Abraam having lifted up his eyes, saw the place afar off. 5 And Abraam said to his servants, Sit ye here with the ass, and I and the lad will proceed thus far, and having worshipped we will return to you. 6 And Abraam took the wood of the whole-burnt-offering, and laid it on Isaac his son, and he took into his hands both the fire and the knife, and the two went together. 7 And Isaac said to Abraam his father, Father. And he said, What is it, son? And he said, Behold the fire and the wood, where is the sheep for a whole-burnt-offering? 8 And Abraam said, Elohim will provide himself a sheep for a whole-burnt-offering, my son. And both having gone together, 9 came to the place which Elohim spoke of to him; and there Abraam built the altar, and laid the wood on it, and having bound the feet of Isaac his son together, he laid him on the altar upon the wood. 10 And Abraam stretched forth his hand to take the knife to slay his son. 11 And an angel of יהוה called him out of heaven, and said, Abraam, Abraam. And he said, Behold, I am here. 12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the child, neither do anything to him, for now I know that thou fear Elohim, and for my sake thou hast not spared thy beloved son. 13 And Abraam lifted up his eyes and beheld, and lo! a ram caught by his horns in a plant of Sabec; and Abraam went and took the ram, and offered him up for a whole-burnt-offering in the place of Isaac his son. 14 And Abraam called the name of that place, יהוה hath seen; that they might say to-day, In the mount יהוה was seen. 15 And an angel of יהוה called Abraam the second time out of heaven, saying, 16 I have sworn by myself, says יהוה, because thou hast done this thing, and on my account hast not spared thy beloved son, 17 surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand which is by the shore of the sea, and thy seed shall inherit the cities of their enemies. 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because thou hast hearkened to my voice. 19 And Abraam returned to his servants, and they arose and went together to the well of the oath; and Abraam dwelt at the well of the oath.

1 At that time the word of יהוה came to Abraham, and he said unto him, Abraham, and he said, Here I am. 2 And he said to him, Take now thy son, thine only son whom thou lovest, even Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which shall be shown to thee, for there wilt thou see a cloud and the glory of יהוה . 3 And Abraham said within himself, How shall I separate my son Isaac from Sarah his mother, in order to bring him up for a burnt offering before יהוה ? 4 And Abraham came into the tent, and he sat before Sarah his wife, and he spoke these words to her, 5 My son Isaac is grown up and he has not for some time studied the service of his Elohim, now tomorrow I will go and bring him to Shem, and Eber his son, and there he will learn the ways of יהוה , for they will teach him to know יהוה as well as to know that when he prayeth continually before יהוה , he will answer him, therefore there he will know the way of serving יהוה his Elohim. 6 And Sarah said, Thou hast spoken well, go my master and do unto him as thou hast said, but remove him not at a great distance from me, neither let him remain there too long, for my soul is bound within his soul. 7 And Abraham said unto Sarah, My daughter, let us pray to יהוה our Elohim that he may do good with us. 8 And Sarah took her son Isaac and he abode all that night with her, and she kissed and embraced him, and gave him instructions till morning. 9 And she said to him, O my son, how can my soul separate itself from thee? And she still kissed him and embraced him, and she gave Abraham instructions concerning him. 10 And Sarah said to Abraham, O my master, I pray thee take heed of thy son, and place thine eyes over him, for I have no other son nor daughter but him. 11 O forsake him not. If he be hungry give him bread, and if he be thirsty give him water to drink; do not let him go on foot, neither let him sit in the sun. 12 Neither let him go by himself in the road, neither force him from whatever he may desire, but do unto him as he may say to thee. 13 And Sarah wept bitterly the whole night on account of Isaac, and she gave him instructions till morning. 14 And in the morning Sarah selected a very fine and beautiful garment from those garments which she had in the house, that Abimelech had given to her. 15 And she dressed Isaac her son therewith, and she put a turban upon his head, and she enclosed a precious stone in the top of the turban, and she gave them provision for the road, and they went forth, and Isaac went with his father Abraham, and some of their servants accompanied them to see them off the road. 16 And Sarah went out with them, and she accompanied them upon the road to see them off, and they said to her, Return to the tent. 17 And when Sarah heard the words of her son Isaac she wept bitterly, and Abraham her husband wept with her, and their son wept with them a great weeping; also those who went with them wept greatly. 18 And Sarah caught hold of her son Isaac, and she held him in her arms, and she embraced him and continued to weep with him, and Sarah said, Who knoweth if after this day I shall ever see thee again? 19 And they still wept together, Abraham, Sarah and Isaac, and all those that accompanied them on the road wept with them, and Sarah afterward turned away from her son, weeping bitterly, and all her men servants and maid servants returned with her to the tent. 20 And Abraham went with Isaac his son to bring him up as an offering before יהוה , as He had commanded him. 21 And Abraham took two of his young men with him, Ishmael the son of Hagar and Eliezer his servant, and they went together with them, and whilst they were walking in the road the young men spoke these words to themselves, 22 And Ishmael said to Eliezer, Now my father Abraham is going with Isaac to bring him up for a burnt offering to יהוה , as He commanded him. 23 Now when he returneth he will give unto me all that he possesses, to inherit after him, for I am his first born. 24 And Eliezer answered Ishmael and said, Surely Abraham did cast thee away with thy mother, and swear that thou shouldst not inherit any thing of all he possesses, and to whom will he give all that he has, with all his treasures, but unto me his servant, who has been faithful in his house, who has served him night and day, and has done all that he desired me? to me will he bequeath at his death all that he possesses. 25 And whilst Abraham was proceeding with his son Isaac along the road, Satan came and appeared to Abraham in the figure of a very aged man, humble and of contrite spirit, and he approached Abraham and said to him, Art thou silly or brutish, that thou goest to do this thing this day to thine only son? 26 For Elohim gave thee a son in thy latter days, in thy old age, and wilt thou go and slaughter him this day because he committed no violence, and wilt thou cause the soul of thine only son to perish from the earth? 27 Dost thou not know and understand that this thing cannot be from יהוה ? for יהוה cannot do unto man such evil upon earth to say to him, Go slaughter thy child. 28 And Abraham heard this and knew that it was the word of Satan who endeavored to draw him aside from the way of יהוה , but Abraham would not hearken to the voice of Satan, and Abraham rebuked him so that he went away. 29 And Satan returned and came to Isaac; and he appeared unto Isaac in the figure of a young man comely and well favored. 30 And he approached Isaac and said unto him, Dost thou not know and understand that thy old silly father bringeth thee to the slaughter this day for naught? 31 Now therefore, my son, do not listen nor attend to him, for he is a silly old man, and let not thy precious soul and beautiful figure be lost from the earth. 32 And Isaac heard this, and said unto Abraham, Hast thou heard, my father, that which this man has spoken? even thus has he spoken. 33 And Abraham answered his son Isaac and said to him, Take heed of him and do not listen to his words, nor attend to him, for he is Satan, endeavoring to draw us aside this day from the commands of Elohim. 34 And Abraham still rebuked Satan, and Satan went from them, and seeing he could not prevail over them he hid himself from them, and he went and passed before them in the road; and he transformed himself to a large brook of water in the road, and Abraham and Isaac and his two young men reached that place, and they saw a brook large and powerful as the mighty waters. 35 And they entered the brook and passed through it, and the waters at first reached their legs. 36 And they went deeper in the brook and the waters reached up to their necks, and they were all terrified on account of the water; and whilst they were going over the brook Abraham recognized that place, and he knew that there was no water there before. 37 And Abraham said to his son Isaac, I know this place in which there was no brook nor water, now therefore it is this Satan who does all this to us, to draw us aside this day from the commands of Elohim. 38 And Abraham rebuked him and said unto him, יהוה rebuke thee, O Satan, begone from us for we go by the commands of Elohim. 39 And Satan was terrified at the voice of Abraham, and he went away from them, and the place again became dry land as it was at first. 40 And Abraham went with Isaac toward the place that Elohim had told him. 41 And on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place at a distance which Elohim had told him of. 42 And a pillar of fire appeared to him that reached from the earth to heaven, and a cloud of glory upon the mountain, and the glory of יהוה was seen in the cloud. 43 And Abraham said to Isaac, My son, dost thou see in that mountain, which we perceive at a distance, that which I see upon it? 44 And Isaac answered and said unto his father, I see and lo a pillar of fire and a cloud, and the glory of יהוה is seen upon the cloud. 45 And Abraham knew that his son Isaac was accepted before יהוה for a burnt offering. 46 And Abraham said unto Eliezer and unto Ishmael his son, Do you also see that which we see upon the mountain which is at a distance? 47 And they answered and said, We see nothing more than like the other mountains of the earth. And Abraham knew that they were not accepted before יהוה to go with them, and Abraham said to them, Abide ye here with the ass whilst I and Isaac my son will go to yonder mount and worship there before יהוה and then return to you. 48 And Eliezer and Ishmael remained in that place, as Abraham had commanded. 49 And Abraham took wood for a burnt offering and placed it upon his son Isaac, and he took the fire and the knife, and they both went to that place. 50 And when they were going along Isaac said to his father, Behold, I see here the fire and wood, and where then is the lamb that is to be the burnt offering before יהוה ? 51 And Abraham answered his son Isaac, saying, יהוה has made choice of thee my son, to be a perfect burnt offering instead of the lamb. 52 And Isaac said unto his father, I will do all that יהוה spoke to thee with joy and cheerfulness of heart. 53 And Abraham again said unto Isaac his son, Is there in thy heart any thought or counsel concerning this, which is not proper? tell me my son, I pray thee, O my son conceal it not from me. 54 And Isaac answered his father Abraham and said unto him, O my father, as יהוה liveth and as thy soul liveth, there is nothing in my heart to cause me to deviate either to the right or to the left from the word that he has spoken to thee. 55 Neither limb nor muscle has moved or stirred at this, nor is there in my heart any thought or evil counsel concerning this. 56 But I am of joyful and cheerful heart in this matter, and I say, Blessed is יהוה who has this day chosen me to be a burnt offering before Him. 57 And Abraham greatly rejoiced at the words of Isaac, and they went on and came together to that place that יהוה had spoken of. 58 And Abraham approached to build the altar in that place, and Abraham was weeping, and Isaac took stones and mortar until they had finished building the altar. 59 And Abraham took the wood and placed it in order upon the altar which he had built. 60 And he took his son Isaac and bound him in order to place him upon the wood which was upon the altar, to slay him for a burnt offering before יהוה . 61 And Isaac said to his father, Bind me securely and then place me upon the altar lest I should turn and move, and break loose from the force of the knife upon my flesh and thereof profane the burnt offering; and Abraham did so. 62 And Isaac still said to his father, O my father, when thou shalt have slain me and burnt me for an offering, take with thee that which shall remain of my ashes to bring to Sarah my mother, and say to her, This is the sweet smelling savor of Isaac; but do not tell her this if she should sit near a well or upon any high place, lest she should cast her soul after me and die. 63 And Abraham heard the words of Isaac, and he lifted up his voice and wept when Isaac spake these words; and Abraham's tears gushed down upon Isaac his son, and Isaac wept bitterly, and he said to his father, Hasten thou, O my father, and do with me the will of יהוה our Elohim as He has commanded thee. 64 And the hearts of Abraham and Isaac rejoiced at this thing which יהוה had commanded them; but the eye wept bitterly whilst the heart rejoiced. 65 And Abraham bound his son Isaac, and placed him on the altar upon the wood, and Isaac stretched forth his neck upon the altar before his father, and Abraham stretched forth his hand to take the knife to slay his son as a burnt offering before יהוה . 66 At that time the angels of mercy came before יהוה and spake to him concerning Isaac, saying, 67 0 יהוה , thou art a merciful and compassionate King over all that thou hast created in heaven and in earth, and thou supportest them all; give therefore ransom and redemption instead of thy servant Isaac, and pity and have compassion upon Abraham and Isaac his son, who are this day performing thy commands. 68 Hast thou seen, O יהוה , how Isaac the son of Abraham thy servant is bound down to the slaughter like an animal? now therefore let thy pity be roused for them, O יהוה . 69 At that time יהוה appeared unto Abraham, and called to him, from heaven, and said unto him, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him, for now I know that thou fearest Elohim in performing this act, and in not withholding thy son, thine only son, from me. 70 And Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw, and behold, a ram was caught in a thicket by his horns; that was the ram which יהוה Elohim had created in the earth in the day that he made earth and heaven. 71 For יהוה had prepared this ram from that day, to be a burnt offering instead of Isaac. 72 And this ram was advancing to Abraham when Satan caught hold of him and entangled his horns in the thicket, that he might not advance to Abraham, in order that Abraham might slay his son. 73 And Abraham, seeing the ram advancing to him and Satan withholding him, fetched him and brought him before the altar, and he loosened his son Isaac from his binding, and he put the ram in his stead, and Abraham killed the ram upon the altar, and brought it up as an offering in the place of his son Isaac. 74 And Abraham sprinkled some of the blood of the ram upon the altar, and he exclaimed and said, This is in the place of my son, and may this be considered this day as the blood of my son before יהוה . 75 And all that Abraham did on this occasion by the altar, he would exclaim and say, This is in the room of my son, and may it this day be considered before יהוה in the place of my son; and Abraham finished the whole of the service by the altar, and the service was accepted before יהוה , and was accounted as if it had been Isaac; and יהוה blessed Abraham and his seed on that day. 76 And Satan went to Sarah, and he appeared to her in the figure of an old man very humble and meek, and Abraham was yet engaged in the burnt offering before יהוה . 77 And he said unto her, Dost thou not know all the work that Abraham has made with thine only son this day? for he took Isaac and built an altar, and killed him, and brought him up as a sacrifice upon the altar, and Isaac cried and wept before his father, but he looked not at him, neither did he have compassion over him. 78 And Satan repeated these words, and he went away from her, and Sarah heard all the words of Satan, and she imagined him to be an old man from amongst the sons of men who had been with her son, and had come and told her these things. 79 And Sarah lifted up her voice and wept and cried out bitterly on account of her son; and she threw herself upon the ground and she cast dust upon her head, and she said, O my son, Isaac my son, O that I had this day died instead of thee. And she continued to weep and said, It grieves me for thee, O my son, my son Isaac, O that I had died this day in thy stead. 80 And she still continued to weep, and said, It grieves me for thee after that I have reared thee and have brought thee up; now my joy is turned into mourning over thee, I that had a longing for thee, and cried and prayed to Elohim till I bare thee at ninety years old; and now hast thou served this day for the knife and the fire, to be made an offering. 81 But I console myself with thee, my son, in its being the word of יהוה , for thou didst perform the command of thy Elohim; for who can transgress the word of our Elohim, in whose hands is the soul of every living creature? 82 Thou art just, O יהוה our Elohim, for all thy works are good and righteous; for I also am rejoiced with thy word which thou didst command, and whilst mine eye weepeth bitterly my heart rejoiceth. 83 And Sarah laid her head upon the bosom of one of her handmaids, and she became as still as a stone. 84 She afterward rose up and went about making inquiries till she came to Hebron, and she inquired of all those whom she met walking in the road, and no one could tell her what had happened to her son. 85 And she came with her maid servants and men servants to Kireath-arba, which is Hebron, and she asked concerning her Son, and she remained there while she sent some of her servants to seek where Abraham had gone with Isaac; they went to seek him in the house of Shem and Eber, and they could not find him, and they sought throughout the land and he was not there. 86 And behold, Satan came to Sarah in the shape of an old man, and he came and stood before her, and he said unto her, I spoke falsely unto thee, for Abraham did not kill his son and he is not dead; and when she heard the word her joy was so exceedingly violent on account of her son, that her soul went out through joy; she died and was gathered to her people. 87 And when Abraham had finished his service he returned with his son Isaac to his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba, and they came home. 88 And Abraham sought for Sarah, and could not find her, and he made inquiries concerning her, and they said unto him, She went as far as Hebron to seek you both where you had gone, for thus was she informed 89 And Abraham and Isaac went to her to Hebron, and when they found that she was dead they lifted up their voices and wept bitterly over her; and Isaac fell upon his mother's face and wept over her, and he said, O my mother, my mother, how hast thou left me, and where hast thou gone? O how, how hast thou left me 90 And Abraham and Isaac wept greatly and all their servants wept with them on account of Sarah, and they mourned over her a great and heavy mourning.
Genesis 26:1-5
1 And there was a famine in the land, besides the former famine, which was in the time of Abraam; and Isaac went to Abimelech the king of the Phylistines to Gerara. 2 And יהוה appeared to him and said, Go not down to Egypt, but dwell in the land, which I shall tell thee of. 3 And sojourn in this land; and I will be with thee, and bless thee, for I will give to thee and to thy seed all this land; and I will establish my oath which I swore to thy father Abraam. 4 And I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven; and I will give to thy seed all this land, and all the nations of the earth shall be blest in thy seed. 5 Because Abraam thy father hearkened to my voice, and kept my injunctions, and my commandments, and my ordinances, and my statutes.

Genesis 28:10-22
10 And Jacob went forth from the well of the oath, and departed into Charrhan. 11 And came to a certain place and slept there, for the sun had gone down; and he took one of the stones of the place, and put it at his head, and lay down to sleep in that place, 12 and dreamed, and behold a ladder fixed on the earth, whose top reached to heaven, and the angels of Elohim ascended and descended on it. 13 And יהוה stood upon it, and said, I am the Elohim of thy father Abraam, and the Elohim of Isaac; fear not, the land on which thou lie, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed. 14 And thy seed shall be as the sand of the earth; and it shall spread abroad to the sea, and the south, and the north, and to the east; and in thee and in thy seed shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed. 15 And behold I am with thee to preserve thee continually in all the way wherein thou shalt go; and I will bring thee back to this land; for I will not desert thee, until I have done all that I have said to thee. 16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and said, יהוה is in this place, and I knew it not. 17 And he was afraid, and said, How fearful is this place! this is none other than the house of Elohim, and this is the gate of heaven. 18 And Jacob rose up in the morning, and took the stone he had laid there by his head, and he set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on the top of it. 19 And he called the name of that place, the House of Elohim; and the name of the city before was Ulam-luz. 20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If the יהוה Elohim will be with me, and guard me throughout on this journey, on which I am going, and give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, 21 and bring me back in safety to the house of my father, then shall יהוה be for a Elohim to me. 22 And this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be to me a house of Elohim; and of all whatsoever thou shalt give me, I will tithe a tenth for thee.
Here we see Jacob having the oath made with his father’s presented to him. And then vowing to commit and serve and honor יהוה.

Genesis 35:1-15
1 And Elohim said to Jacob, Arise, go up to the place, Baethel, and dwell there; and make there an altar to the Elohim that appeared to thee, when thou fled from the face of Esau thy brother. 2 And Jacob said to his house, and to all that were with him, Remove the strange gods that are with you from the midst of you, and purify yourselves, and change your clothes. 3 And let us rise and go up to Baethel, and let us there make an alter to Elohim who hearkened to me in the day of calamity, who was with me, and preserved me throughout in the journey, by which I went. 4 And they gave to Jacob the strange gods, which were in their hands, and the ear-rings which were in their ears, and Jacob hid them under the turpentine tree which is in Secima, and destroyed them to this day. 5 So Israel departed from Secima, and the fear of Elohim was upon the cities round about them, and they did not pursue after the children of Israel. 6 And Jacob came to Luza, which is in the land of Chanaan, which is Baethel, he and all the people that were with him. 7 And he built there an altar, and called the name of the place Baethel; for there Elohim appeared to him, when he fled from the face of his brother Esau. 8 And Deborrha, Rebecca's nurse, died, and was buried below Baethel under the oak; and Jacob called its name, The Oak of Mourning. 9 And Elohim appeared to Jacob once more in Luza, when he came out of Mesopotamia of Syria, and Elohim blessed him. 10 And Elohim said to him, Thy name shall not be called Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name; and he called his name Israel. 11 And Elohim said to him, I am thy Elohim; increase and multiply; for nations and gatherings of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins. 12 And the land which I gave to Abraam and Isaac, I have given it to thee; and it shall come to pass that I will give this land also to thy seed after thee. 13 And Elohim went up from him from the place where he spoke with him. 14 And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where Elohim spoke with him, even a pillar of stone; and offered a libation upon it, and poured oil upon it. 15 And Jacob called the name of the place in which Elohim spoke with him, Baethel.
Jacob confirms and enters in to Covenant with יהוה just as his Fathers did before him.

Think about what the author of Chronicles says.
1 Chronicles 16:15-17
15 Let us remember His covenant forever, His Word which He commanded to a thousand generations, 16 which He covenanted with Abraham, and His oath sworn to Isaac. 17 He confirmed it to Jacob for an ordinance, to Israel as an everlasting covenant,
Here we see the author reminding us of the covenant made with our fathers.
Isaiah 24: 3-5
3 The earth shall be completely laid waste, and the earth shall be utterly spoiled: for the mouth of יהוה has spoken these things. 4 The earth mourns, and the world is ruined, the lofty ones of the earth are mourning. 5 And she has sinned by reason of her inhabitants; because they have transgressed the Torah, and changed the ordinances, even the everlasting covenant.
Isaiah connects the Torah the Ordinances and the Everlasting Covenant.

I come to thee in a pillar of a cloud, that the people may hear me speaking to thee, and may believe thee forever: and Moses reported the words of the people to יהוה. 10 And יהוה said to Moses, Go down and solemnly charge the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments. 11 And let them be ready against the third day, for on the third day יהוה will descend upon Mount Sinai before all the people. 12 And thou shalt separate the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves that ye go not up into the mountain, nor touch any part of it: every one that touches the mountain shall surely die. 13 A hand shall not touch it, for every one that touches shall be stoned with stones or shot through with a dart, whether beast or whether man, it shall not live: when the voices and trumpets and cloud depart from off the mountain, they shall come up on the mountain. 14 And Moses went down from the mountain to the people, and sanctified them, and they washed their clothes. 15 And he said to the people, Be ready: for three days come not near to a woman. 16 And it came to pass on the third day, as the morning drew nigh, there were voices and lightnings and a dark cloud on Mount Sinai: the voice of the trumpet sounded loud, and all the people in the camp trembled. 17 And Moses led the people forth out of the camp to meet Elohim, and they stood by under the camp. 18 The Mount of Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because Elohim had descended upon it in fire; and the smoke went up as the smoke of a furnace, and the people were exceedingly amazed. 19 And the sounds of the trumpet were waxing very much louder. Moses spoke, and Elohim answered him with a voice. 20 And יהוה came down upon Mount Sinai on the top of the mountain; and יהוה called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up. 21 And Elohim spoke to Moses, saying, Go down, and solemnly charge the people, lest at any time they draw nigh to Elohim to gaze, and a multitude of them fall. 22 And let the priests that draw nigh to יהוה Elohim sanctify themselves, * destroy some of them. 23 And Moses said to Elohim, The people will not be able to approach to the Mount of Sinai, for thou hast solemnly charged us, saying, Set bounds to the mountain and sanctify it. 24 And יהוה said to him, Go, descend, and come up thou and Aaron with thee; but let not the priests and the people force their way to come up to Elohim, lest יהוה destroy some of them. 25 And Moses went down to the people, and spoke to them.
2 Samuel 6:5-11
5 And David and the children of Israel were playing before יהוה on well-tuned instruments mightily, and with songs, and with harps, and with lutes, and with drums, and with cymbals, and with pipes. 6 And they come as far as the threshing floor of Nachor: and Oza reached forth his hand to the ark of Elohim to keep it steady, and took hold of it; for the ox shook it out of its place. 7 And יהוה was very angry with Oza; and Elohim smote him there: and he died there by the ark of יהוה before Elohim. 8 And David was dispirited because יהוה made a breach upon Oza; and that place was called the breach of Oza until this day. 9 And David feared יהוה in that day, saying, How shall the ark of יהוה come in to me? 10 And David would not bring in the ark of the covenant of יהוה to himself into the city of David: and David turned it aside into the house of Abeddara the Gethite. 11 And the ark of יהוה lodged in the house of Abeddara the Gethite three months, and יהוה blessed all the house of Abeddara, and all his possessions.
Exodus 20
1 And יהוה spoke all these words, saying: 2 I am יהוה thy Elohim, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods beside me. 4 Thou shalt not make to thyself an idol, nor likeness of anything, whatever things are in the heaven above, and whatever are in the earth beneath, and whatever are in the waters under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down to them, nor serve them; for I am יהוה thy Elohim, a jealous Elohim, recompensing the sins of the fathers upon the children, to the third and fourth generation to them that hate me, 6 and bestowing mercy on them that love me to thousands of them, and on them that keep my commandments. 7 Thou shalt not take the name of יהוה thy Elohim in vain; for יהוה thy Elohim will not acquit him that takes his name in vain. 8 Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy. 9 Six days thou shalt labor, and shalt perform all thy work. 10 But on the seventh day is the sabbath of יהוה thy Elohim; on it thou shalt do no work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy servant nor thy maidservant, thine ox nor thine ass, nor any cattle of thine, nor the stranger that sojourns with thee. 11 For in six days יהוה made the heaven and the earth, and the sea and all things in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore יהוה blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it. 12 Honor thy father and thy mother, that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest live long on the good land, which יהוה thy Elohim gives to thee. 13 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 14 Thou shalt not steal. 15 Thou shalt not kill(murder). 16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. 17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife; thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house; nor his field, nor his servant, nor his maid, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any of his cattle, nor whatever belongs to thy neighbor. 18 And all the people perceived the * thundering, and the flashes, and the voice of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and all the people feared and stood afar off, 19 and said to Moses, Speak thou to us, and let not Elohim speak to us, lest we die. 20 And Moses says to them, Be of good courage, for Elohim is come to you to try you, that his fear may be among you, that you sin not. 21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses went into the darkness where Elohim was. 22 And יהוה said to Moses, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and thou shalt report it to the children of Israel, You have seen that I have spoken to you from heaven. 23 You shall not make to yourselves gods of silver, and gods of gold you shall not make to yourselves. 24 You shall make to me an altar of earth; and upon it you shall sacrifice your whole burnt-offerings, and your peace-offerings, and your sheep and your calves in every place, where I shall record my name; and I will come to thee and bless thee. 25 And if thou wilt make to me an altar of stones, thou shalt not build them hewn stones; for thou hast lifted up thy tool upon them, and they are defiled. 26 Thou shalt not go up to my altar by steps, that thou mayest not uncover thy nakedness upon it.
John 12:27-31
27 “Now I Myself am troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this reason I came to this hour. 28 “Father, esteem Your Name.” Then a voice came from the heaven, “I have both esteemed it and shall esteem it again.” 29 So the crowd who stood by and heard it were saying there had been thunder. Others said, “A messenger has spoken to Him.” 30יהושע answered and said, “This voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake. 31 “Now is the judgment of this world, now the ruler of this world shall be cast out.
Leviticus 26
1 I am יהוה your Elohim: ye shall not make to yourselves gods made with hands, or graven; neither shall ye rear up a pillar for yourselves, neither shall ye set up a stone for an object in your land to worship it: I am יהוה your Elohim. 2 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuaries: I am the יהוה. 3 If ye will walk in my ordinances, and keep my commandments, and do them, 4 then will I give you the rain in its season, and the land shall produce its fruits, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. 5 And your threshing time shall overtake the vintage, and your vintage shall overtake your seed time; and ye shall eat your bread to the full; and ye shall dwell safely upon your land, and war shall not go through your land. 6 And I will give peace in your land, and ye shall sleep, and none shall make you afraid; and I will destroy the evil beasts out of your land, 7 and ye shall pursue your enemies, and they shall fall before you with slaughter. 8 And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase tens of thousands; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. 9 And I will look upon you, and increase you, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. 10 And ye shall eat that which is old and very old, and bring forth the old to make way for the new. 11 And I will set my tabernacle among you, and my soul shall not abhor you; 12 and I will walk among you, and be your Elohim, and ye shall be my people. 13 I am יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, where ye were slaves; and I broke the band of your yoke, and brought you forth openly. 14 But if ye will not hearken to me, nor obey these my ordinances, 15 but disobey them, and your soul should loathe my judgments, so that ye should not keep all my commands, so as to break my covenant, 16 then will I do thus to you: I will even bring upon you perplexity and the itch, and the fever that causes your eyes to waste away, and disease that consumes your life; and ye shall sow your seeds in vain, and your enemies shall eat them. 17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall fall before your enemies, and they that hate you shall pursue you; and ye shall flee, no one pursuing you. 18 And if ye still refuse to hearken to me, then will I chasten you yet more even seven times for your sins. 19 And I will break down the haughtiness of your pride; and I will make your heaven iron, and your earth as it were brass. 20 And your strength shall be in vain; and your land shall not yield its seed, and the tree of your field shall not yield its fruit. 21 And if after this ye should walk perversely, and not be willing to obey me, I will further bring upon you seven plagues according to your sins. 22 And I will send upon you the wild beasts of the land, and they shall devour you, and shall consume your cattle: and I will make you few in number, and your ways shall be desolate. 23 And if hereupon ye are not corrected, but walk perversely towards me, 24 I also will walk with you with a perverse spirit, and I also will smite you seven times for your sins. 25 And I will bring upon you a sword avenging the cause of my covenant, and ye shall flee for refuge to your cities; and I will send out death against you, and ye shall be delivered into the hands of your enemies. 26 When I afflict you with famine of bread, then ten women shall bake your loaves in one oven, and they shall render your loaves by weight; and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied. 27 And if hereupon ye will not obey me, but walk perversely towards me, 28 then will I walk with you with a forward mind, and I will chasten you seven-fold according to your sins. 29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat. 30 And I will render your pillars desolate, and will utterly destroy your wooden images made with hands; and I will lay your carcasses on the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall loathe you. 31 And I will lay your cities waste, and I will make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will not smell the savor of your sacrifices. 32 And I will lay your land desolate, and your enemies who dwell in it shall wonder at it. 33 And I will scatter you among the nations, and the sword shall come upon you and consume you; and your land shall be desolate, and your cities shall be desolate. 34 Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths all the days of its desolation. 35 And ye shall be in the land of your enemies; then the land shall keep its sabbaths, and the land shall enjoy its sabbaths all the days of its desolation: it shall keep sabbaths which it kept not among your sabbaths, when ye dwelt in it. 36 And to those who are left of you I will bring bondage into their heart in the land of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them, and they shall flee as fleeing from war, and shall fall when none pursues them. 37 And brother shall disregard brother as in war, when none pursues; and ye shall not be able to withstand your enemies. 38 And ye shall perish among the Gentiles, and the land of your enemies shall devour you. 39 And those who are left of you shall perish, because of their sins, and because of the sins of their fathers: in the land of their enemies shall they consume away. 40 And they shall confess their sins, and the sins of their fathers, that they have transgressed and neglected me, and that they have walked perversely before me, 41 and I walked with them with a perverse mind; and I will destroy them in the land of their enemies: then shall their uncircumcised heart be ashamed, and then shall they acquiesce in the punishment of their sins. 42 And I will remember the covenant of Jacob, and the covenant of Isaac, and the covenant of Abraam will I remember. 43 And I will remember the land, and the land shall be left of them; then the land shall enjoy her sabbaths, when it is deserted through them: and they shall accept the punishment of their iniquities, because they neglected my judgments, and in their soul loathed my ordinances. 44 And yet not even thus, while they were in the land of their enemies, did I overlook them, nor did I loathe them so as to consume them, to break my covenant made with them; for I am יהוה their Elohim. 45 And I will remember their former covenant, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage before the nation, to be their Elohim; I am יהוה m46 These are my judgments and my ordinances, and the law which יהוה gave between himself and the children of Israel, in the mount Sina, by the hand of Moses.
Exodus 21
1 And these are the ordinances which thou shalt set before them. 2 If thou buy a Hebrew servant, six years shall he serve thee, and in the seventh year he shall go forth free for nothing. 3 If he should have come in alone, he shall also go forth alone; and if his wife should have gone in together with him, his wife also shall go out. 4 Moreover, if his master give him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters, the wife and the children shall be his master's; and he shall go forth alone. 5 And if the servant should answer and say, I love my master and wife and children, I will not go away free; 6 his master shall bring him to the judgment-seat of Elohim, and then shall he bring him to the door, —to the door-post, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him forever. 7 And if anyone sell his daughter as a domestic, she shall not depart as the maid-servants depart. 8 If she be not pleasing to her master, after she has betrothed herself to him, he shall let her go free; but he is not at liberty to sell her to a foreign nation, because he has trifled with her. 9 And if he should have betrothed her to his son, he shall do to her according to the right of daughters. 10 And if he take another to himself, he shall not deprive her of necessaries and her apparel, and her companionship with him. 11 And if he will not do these three things to her, she shall go out free without money. 12 And if any man smite another and he die, let him be certainly put to death. 13 But as for him that did it not willingly, but Elohim delivered him into his hands, I will give thee a place whither the slayer may flee. 14 And if any one lie in wait for his neighbor to slay him by craft, and he go for refuge, thou shalt take him from my altar to put him to death. 15 Whoever smites his father or his mother, let him be certainly put to death. 16 He that reviles his father or his mother shall surely die. 17 Whosoever shall steal one of the children of Israel, and prevail over him and sell him, and he be found with him, let him certainly die. 18 And if two men revile each other and smite the one the other with a stone or his fist, and he die not, but be laid upon his bed; 19 if the man arise and walk abroad on his staff, he that smote him shall be clear; only he shall pay for his loss of time, and for his healing. 20 And if a man smite his man-servant or his maid-servant, with a rod, and the party die under his hands, he shall be surely punished. 21 But if the servant continue to live a day or two, let not the master be punished; for he is his money. 22 And if two men strive and smite a woman with child, and her child be born imperfectly formed, he shall be forced to pay a penalty: as the woman's husband may lay upon him, he shall pay with a valuation. 23 But if it be perfectly formed, he shall give life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe. 26 And if one smite the eye of his man-servant, or the eye of his maid-servant, and put it out, he shall let them go free for their eye's sake. 27 And if he should smite out the tooth of his man-servant, or the tooth of his maid-servant, he shall send them away free for their tooth's sake. 28 And if a bull gore a man or woman and they die, the bull shall be stoned with stones, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the bull shall be clear. 29 But if the bull should have been given to goring in former time, and men should have told his owner, and he have not removed him, but he should have slain a man or woman, the bull shall be stoned, and his owner shall die also. 30 And if a ransom should be imposed on him, he shall pay for the ransom of his soul as much as they shall lay upon him. 31 And if the bull gore a son or daughter, let them do to him according to this ordinance. 32 And if the bull gore a man-servant or maid-servant, he shall pay to their master thirty silver didrachms, and the bull shall be stoned. 33 And if any one open a pit or dig a cavity in stone, and cover it not, and an ox or an ass fall in there, 34 the owner of the pit shall make compensation; he shall give money to their owner, and the dead shall be his own. 35 And if any man's bull gore the bull of his neighbor, and it die, they shall sell the living bull and divide the money, and they shall divide the dead bull. 36 But if the bull be known to have been given to goring in time past, and they have testified to his owner, and he have not removed him, he shall repay bull for bull, but the dead shall be his own.
John 10:1-18
1 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter through the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up by another way, that one is a thief and a robber. 2 “But he who enters through the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 “The doorkeeper opens for him, and the sheep hear his voice. And he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 “And when he has brought out his own sheep, he goes before them. And the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. 5 “And they shall by no means follow a stranger, but shall flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 יהושע used this figure of speech, but they did not know what He had been saying to them. 7 יהושע therefore said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 “All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 “I am the door. Whoever enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and shall go out and find pasture. 10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to slaughter, and to destroy. I have come that they might possess life, and that they might possess it beyond measure. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. 12 “But the hireling, and not being a shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees. And the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them. 13 “Now the hireling flees because he is a hireling and is not concerned about the sheep. 14 “I am the good shepherd. And I know Mine, and Mine know Me, 15 even as the Father knows Me, and I know the Father. And I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 “And other sheep I have which are not of this fold – I have to bring them as well, and they shall hear My voice, and there shall be one flock, one shepherd. 17 “Because of this the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, in order to receive it again. 18 “No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to receive it again. This command I have received from My Father.”
Exodus 22
1 And if one steal an ox or a sheep, and kill it or sell it, he shall pay five calves for a calf, and four sheep for a sheep. 2 And if the thief be found in the breach made by himself and be smitten and die, there shall not be blood shed for him. 3 But if the sun be risen upon him, he is guilty, he shall die instead; and if a thief have nothing, let him be sold in compensation for what he has stolen. 4 And if the thing stolen be left and be in his hand alive, whether ox or sheep, he shall restore them two-fold. 5 And if anyone should feed down a field or a vineyard, and should send in his beast to feed down another field, he shall make compensation of his own field according to his produce; and if he shall have fed down the whole field, he shall pay for compensation the best of his own field and the best of his vineyard. 6 And if fire have gone forth and caught thorns, and should also set on fire threshing-floors or ears of corn or a field, he that kindled the fire shall make compensation. 7 And if anyone give to his neighbor money or goods to keep, and they be stolen out of the man's house, if the thief be found he shall repay double. 8 But if the thief be not found, the master of the house shall come forward before Elohim, and shall swear that surely he has not wrought wickedly in regard of any part of his neighbor's deposit, 9 according to every injury alleged, both concerning a calf, and an ass, and a sheep, and a garment, and every alleged loss, whatsoever in fact it may be, —the judgment of both shall proceed before Elohim, and he that is convicted by Elohim shall repay to his neighbor double. 10 And if any one give to his neighbor to keep a calf or sheep or any beast, and it be wounded or die or be taken, and no one know, 11 an oath of Elohim shall be between both, each swearing that he has surely not at all been guilty in the matter of his neighbor's deposit; and so his master shall § hold him guiltless, and he shall not make compensation. 12 And if it be stolen from him, he shall make compensation to the owner. 13 And if it be seized of beasts, he shall bring him to witness the prey, and he shall not make compensation. 14 And if anyone borrow ought of his neighbor, and it be wounded or die or be carried away, and the owner of it be not with it, he shall make compensation. 15 But if the owner be with it, he shall not make compensation: but if it be a hired thing, there shall be a compensation to him instead of his hire. 16 And if anyone deceive a virgin that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her for a wife to himself. 17 And if her father positively refuse, and will not consent to give her to him for a wife, he shall pay compensation to her father according to the amount of the dowry of virgins. 18 Ye shall not save the lives of sorcerers. 19 Every one that lies with a beast ye shall surely put to death. 20 He that sacrifices to any gods but to יהוה alone, shall be destroyed by death. 21 And ye shall not hurt a stranger, nor afflict him; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. 22 Ye shall hurt no widow or orphan. 23 And if ye should afflict them by ill-treatment, and they should cry aloud to me, I will surely hear their voice. 24 And I will be very angry, and will slay you with the sword, and your wives shall be widows and your children orphans. 25 And if thou shouldest lend money to thy poor brother who is by thee, thou shalt not be hard upon him thou shalt not exact usury of him. 26 And if thou take thy neighbor's garment for a pledge, thou shalt restore it to him before sunset. 27 For this is his clothing, this is the only covering of his nakedness; wherein shall he sleep? If then he shall cry to me, I will hearken to him, for I am merciful. 28 Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor speak ill of the ruler of thy people. 29 Thou shalt not keep back the first-fruits of thy threshing floor and press. The first-born of thy sons thou shalt give to me. 30 So shalt thou do with thy calf and thy sheep and thine ass; seven days shall it be under the mother, and the eighth day thou shalt give it to me. 31 And ye shall be holy men to me; and ye shall not eat flesh taken of beasts, ye shall cast it to the dog.

1 Thou shalt not receive a vain report: thou shalt not agree with the unjust man to become an unjust witness. 2 Thou shalt not associate with the multitude for evil; thou shalt not join thyself with a multitude to turn aside with the majority so as to shut out judgment. 3 And thou shalt not spare a poor man in judgment. 4 And if thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt turn them back and restore them to him. 5 And if thou see thine enemy's ass fallen under its burden, thou shalt not pass by it, but shalt help to raise it with him. 6 Thou shalt not wrest the sentence of the poor in his judgment. 7 Thou shalt abstain from every unjust thing: thou shalt not slay the innocent and just, and thou shalt not justify the wicked for gifts. 8 And thou shalt not receive gifts; for gifts blind the eyes of the seeing, and corrupt just words. 9 And ye shall not afflict a stranger, for ye know the heart of a stranger; for ye were yourselves strangers in the land of Egypt. 10 Six years thou shalt sow thy land, and gather in the fruits of it. 11 But in the seventh year thou shalt let it rest, and leave it, and the poor of thy nation shall feed; and the wild beasts of the field shall eat that which remains: thus shalt thou do to thy vineyard and to thine olive yard. 12 Six days shalt thou do thy works, and on the seventh day there shall be rest, that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and that the son of thy maid-servant and the stranger may be refreshed. 13 Observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and ye shall make no mention of the name of other gods, neither shall they be heard out of your mouth. 14 Keep ye a feast to me three times in the year. 15 Take heed to keep the feast of unleavened bread: seven days ye shall eat unleavened bread, as I charged thee at the season of the month of new corn, for in it thou came out of Egypt: thou shalt not appear before me empty. 16 And thou shalt keep the feast of the harvest of first-fruits of thy labors, whatsoever thou shalt have sown in thy field, and the feast of completion at the end of the year in the gathering in of thy fruits out of thy field. 17 Three times in the year shall all thy males appear before יהוה thy Elohim. 18 For when I shall have cast out the nations from before thee, and shall have widened thy borders, thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven, neither must the fat of my feast abide till the morning. 19 Thou shalt bring the first-offerings of the first-fruits of thy land into the house of יהוה thy Elohim. Thou shalt not seethe a lamb in its mother's milk. 20 And, behold, I send my angel before thy face, that he may keep thee in the way, that he may bring thee into the land which I have prepared for thee. 21 Take heed to thyself and hearken to him, and disobey him not; for he will not give way to thee, for my name is on him. 22 If ye will indeed hear my voice, and if thou wilt do all the things I shall charge thee with, and keep my covenant, ye shall be to me a peculiar people above all nations, for the whole earth is mine; and ye shall be to me a royal priesthood, and a holy nation: these words shall ye speak to the children of Israel, If ye shall indeed hear my voice, and do all the things I shall tell thee, I will be an enemy to thine enemies, and an adversary to thine adversaries. 23 For my angel shall go as thy leader, and shall bring thee to the Amorite, and Chettite, and Pherezite, and Chananite, and Gergesite, and Evite, and Jebusite, and I will destroy them. 24 Thou shalt not worship their gods, nor serve them: thou shalt not do according to their works, but shalt utterly destroy them, and break to pieces their pillars. 25 And thou shalt serve יהוה thy Elohim, and I will bless thy bread and thy wine and thy water, and I will turn away sickness from you. 26 There shall not be on thy land one that is impotent or barren. I will surely fulfil the number of thy days. 27 And I will send terror before thee, and I will strike with amazement all the nations to which thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies to flee. 28 And I will send hornets before thee, and thou shalt cast out the Amorites and the Evites, and the Chananites and the Chettites from thee. 29 I will not cast them out in one year, lest the land become desolate, and the beasts of the field multiply against thee. 30 By little and little I will cast them out from before thee, until thou shalt be increased and inherit the earth. 31 And I will set thy borders from the Red Sea, to the sea of the Phylistines, and from the wilderness to the great river Euphrates; and I will give into your hand those that dwell in the land, and will cast them out from thee. 32 Thou shalt make no covenant with them and their gods. 33 And they shall not dwell in thy land, lest they cause thee to sin against me; for if thou shouldest serve their gods, these will be an offence to thee.

1 And to Moses he said, go up to יהוה, thou and Aaron and Nadab and Abiud, and seventy of the elders of Israel: and they shall worship יהוה from a distance. 2 And Moses alone shall draw nigh to Elohim; and they shall not draw nigh, and the people shall not come up with them. 3 And Moses went in and related to the people all the words of Elohim and the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, saying, All the words which יהוה has spoken, we will do and be obedient. 4 And Moses wrote all the words of יהוה; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the mountain, and set up twelve stones for the twelve tribes of Israel. 5 And he sent forth the young men of the children of Israel, and they offered whole burnt-offerings, and they sacrificed young calves as a peace-offering to Elohim. 6 And Moses took half the blood and poured it into bowls, and half the blood he poured out upon the altar. 7 And he took the book of the covenant and read it in the ears of the people, and they said, All things whatsoever יהוה has spoken we will do and hearken therein. 8 And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it upon the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which יהוה has made with you concerning all these words. 9 And Moses went up, and Aaron, and Nadab and Abiud, and seventy of the elders of Israel. 10 And they saw the place where the Elohim of Israel stood; and under his feet was as it were a work of sapphire slabs, and as it were the appearance of the firmament of heaven in its purity. 11 And of the chosen ones of Israel there was not even one missing, and they appeared in the place of Elohim, and did eat and drink. 12 And יהוה said to Moses, come up to me into the mountain, and be there; and I will give thee the tables of stone, the Torah and the commandments, which I have written to give them Torah. 13 And Moses rose up and Joshua his attendant, and they went up into the mount of Elohim. 14 And to the elders they said, Rest there till we return to you; and behold, Aaron and Or are with you: if any man have a cause to be tried, let them go to them. 15 And Moses and Joshua went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. 16 And the glory of Elohim came down upon the Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days; and יהוה called Moses on the seventh day out of the midst of the cloud. 17 And the appearance of the glory of יהוה was as burning fire on the top of the mountain, before the children of Israel. 18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and went up to the mountain, and was there in the mountain forty days and forty nights.
Exodus 31:12-18
12 And יהוה spoke to Moses, saying, 13 Do thou also charge the children of Israel, saying, Take heed and keep My Sabbaths; for they are a sign with Me and among you throughout your generations, that ye may know that I Am יהוה that sanctifies you. 14 And ye shall keep the sabbaths, because this is holy to יהוה for you; he that profanes it shall surely be put to death: everyone who shall do a work on it, that soul shall be destroyed from the midst of his people. 15 Six days thou shalt do works, but the seventh day is the sabbath, a holy rest to יהוה; everyone who shall do a work on the seventh day shall be put to death. 16 And the children of Israel shall keep the sabbaths, to observe them throughout their generations. 17 It is a perpetual covenant with Me and the children of Israel, it is a perpetual sign with Me; for in six days יהוה made the heaven and the earth, and on the seventh day He ceased, and rested.18 And He gave to Moses when he left off speaking to Him in mount Sina the two tables of testimony, tables of stone written upon with the finger of Elohim.

Moses was selected by יהוה and elected by the people, for they were fearful of their own lives being taken. This Covenant that we see presented by Moses, contains something very important, The Eternal Law. By keeping the Sabbath which is the sign of the everlasting covenant we can become closer to Him.
Psalms 19:9-11
9 The fear of יהוה is clean, standing forever(perpetual); The right-rulings(Torah) of יהוה are true, They are righteous altogether, 10 More desirable than gold, Than much fine gold; And sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Also, Your servant is warned by them, In guarding them there is great reward.
Galatians 3:24
Therefore the Torah became our trainer unto Messiah, in order to be declared right by belief.

44 “No one is able to come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him. And I will raise him up in the last day. 45“It has been written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by יהוה.’ Everyone, then, who has heard from the Father, and learned, comes to Me.

10 And I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell by themselves, and shall be no more distressed; and the son of iniquity shall no more afflict them, as he has done from the beginning, 11 from the days when I appointed judges over my people Israel: and I will give thee rest from all thine enemies, and יהוה will tell thee that thou shalt build a house to him. 12 And it shall come to pass when thy days shall have been fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, even thine own issue, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build for me a house to My Name, and I will set up His Throne even forever. 14 I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son. And when He happens to transgress, then will I chasten Him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the sons of men. 15 But my mercy I will not take from Him, as I took it from those whom I removed from my presence. 16 And His house shall be made sure, and His kingdom forever before me, and His throne shall be set up forever.

And you shall receive the gift of the Set-apart Spirit. 39 “For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, as many as יהוה our Elohim shall call.”40 And with many other words he earnestly witnessed and urged them, saying, “Be saved from this crooked generation.”41 Then those, indeed, who gladly received his word, were immersed. And on that day about three thousand beings were added to them. 42 And they were continuing steadfastly in the teaching of the emissaries, and in the fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers. 43 And fear came upon every being, and many wonders and signs were being done through the emissaries. 44 And all those who believed were together, and had all in common, 45 and sold their possessions and property, and divided them among all, as anyone might have need. 46 And day by day, continuing with one mind in the Set-apart Place, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising Elohim and having favor with all the people. 31 Behold, the days come, saith יהוה, when I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Juda: 32 not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day when I took hold of their hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; for they abode not in my covenant, and I disregarded them, saith יהוה. 33 For this is my covenant which I will make with the house of Israel; after those days, saith יהוה, I will surely put my Torah into their mind, and write them on their hearts; and I will be to them a Elohim, and they shall be to me a people. 34 And they shall not at all teach every one his fellow citizen, and every one his brother, saying, Know יהוה: for all shall know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them: for I will be merciful to their iniquities, and their sins I will remember no more. 35 Thus saith יהוה, who gives the sun for a light by day, the moon and the stars for a light by night, and makes a roaring in the sea, so that the waves thereof roar; יהוה Almighty is his name: 36 if these ordinances cease from before me, saith יהוה, then shall the family of Israel cease to be a nation before me forever. 37 Though the sky should be raised to a greater height, saith יהוה, and though the ground of the earth should be sunk lower beneath, yet I will not cast off the family of Israel, saith יהוה, for all that they have done. 38 Behold, the days come, saith יהוה, when the city shall be built to יהוה from the tower of Anameel to the gate of the corner. 39 And the measurement of it shall proceed in front of them as far as the hills of Gareb, and it shall be compassed with a circular wall of choice stones. 40 And all the Asaremoth even to Nachal Kedron, as far as the corner of the horse-gate eastward, shall be holiness to יהוה; and it shall not fail any more, and shall not be destroyed forever.
Ezekiel 36:22-33
22 Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus saith יהוה; I do not this, O house of Israel, for your sakes, but because of my holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations, among whom ye went. 23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the nations, which ye profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am יהוה, when I am sanctified among you before their eyes. 24 And I will take you out from the nations, and will gather you out of all the lands, and will bring you into your own land: 25 and I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be purged from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols, and I will cleanse you. 26 And I will give you a new heart, and will put a new spirit in you: and I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you, and will cause you to walk in mine ordinances, and to keep my judgments, and do them. 28 And ye shall dwell upon the land which I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be to me a people, and I will be to you a Elohim. 29 And I will save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and multiply it, and will not bring famine upon you. 30 And I will multiply the fruit of the trees, and the produce of the field, that ye may not bear the reproach of famine among the nations. 31 And ye shall remember your evil ways and your practices that were not good, and ye shall be hateful in your own sight for your transgressions and for your abominations. 32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith יהוה Elohim, as it is known to you: be ye ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel. 33 Thus saith יהוה Elohim; In the day wherein I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities I will also cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built upon.
Ezekiel 37
1 And the hand of יהוה came upon me, and יהוה brought me forth by the Spirit, and set me in the midst of the plain, and it was full of human bones. 2 And He led me round about them every way: and, behold, there were very many on the face of the plain, very dry. 3 And he said to me, Son of man, will these bones live? and I said, O יהוה Elohim, thou knowest this. 4 And he said to me, Prophesy upon these bones, and thou shalt say to them, Ye dry bones, hear The Word of יהוה. Thus saith יהוה to these bones; Behold, I will bring upon you the breath of life: 6 and I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and will spread skin upon you, and will put my Spirit into you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am יהוה 7 So I prophesied as יהוה commanded me: and it came to pass while I was prophesying, that, behold, there was a shaking, and the bones approached each one to his joint. 8 And I looked, and behold, sinews and flesh grew upon them, and skin came upon them above: but there was not breath in them. 9 And he said to me, Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith יהוה; Come from the four winds, and breathe upon these dead men, and let them live. 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath entered into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, a very great congregation. 11 And יהוה spoke to me, saying, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: and they say, Our bones are become dry, our hope has perished, we are quite spent. 12 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith יהוה; Behold, I will open your tombs, and will bring you up out of your tombs, and will bring you into the land of Israel. 13 And ye shall know that I am יהוה, when I have opened your graves, that I may bring up my people from their graves. 14 And I will put my Spirit within you, and ye shall live, and I will place you upon your own land: and ye shall know that I am יהוה; I have spoken, and will do it, saith יהוה. 15 And The Word of יהוה came to me, saying, 16 Son of man, take for thyself a rod, and write upon it, Juda, and the children of Israel his adherents; and thou shalt take for thyself another rod, and thou shalt inscribe it for Joseph, the rod of Ephraim, and all the children of Israel that belong to him. 17 And thou shalt joint them together for thyself, so as that they should bind themselves into one stick; and they shall be in thine hand. 18 And it shall come to pass, when the children of thy people shall say to thee, Wilt thou not tell us what thou meanest by these things? 19 Then shalt thou say to them, Thus saith יהוה; behold, I will take the tribe of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel that belong to him, and I will add them to the tribe of Juda, and they shall become one rod in the hand of Juda. 20 And the rods on which thou didst write shall be in thine hand in their presence. 21 And thou shalt say to them, Thus saith יהוה Elohim; Behold, I will take the whole house of Israel out of the midst of the nations, among whom they have gone, and I will gather them from all that are round about them, and I will bring them into the land of Israel. 22 And I will make them a nation in my land, even on the mountains of Israel; and they shall have one prince: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided any more at all into two kingdoms: 23 that they may no more defile themselves with their idols; and I will deliver them from all their transgressions whereby they have sinned, and will cleanse them; and they shall be to me a people, and I יהוה will be to them a Elohim. 24 And my servant David shall be a prince in the midst of them: there shall be one shepherd of them all; for they shall walk in mine ordinances, and keep my judgments, and do them. 25 And they shall dwell in their land, which I have given to my servant Jacob, where their fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell upon it: and David my servant shall be their prince forever. 26 And I will make with them a covenant of peace; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will establish my sanctuary in the midst of them forever. 27 And my tabernacle shall be among them; and I will be to them a Elohim, and they shall be my people. 28 And the nations shall know that I am יהוה that sanctifies them, when my sanctuary is in the midst of them forever.
Jeroboam is the first king of Israel after the split from David. He is from the tribe of Ephraim. He rose to prominence as a servant of King Solomon and later led a rebellion against Solomon's son, Rehoboam. He set his throne up in Samaria called Shechem. Jeroboam became the first king of the ten northern tribes, with the tribes of Judah and Benjamin remaining with Rehoboam in the southern kingdom. This is the division of the Tribes of Israel 10 Northern 2 Southern (Judah, Benjamin). Later The Assyrian army invades and takes over Shechem and its inhabitants
2 Kings 17:24-41
24 And the king of Assyria brought from Babylon the men of Chutha, and men from Aia, and from Aemath, and Seppharvaim, and they were settled in the cities of Samaria in the place of the children of Israel: and they inherited Samaria, and were settled in its cities. 25 And it was so at the beginning of their establishment there that they feared not יהוה, and יהוה sent lions among them, and they slew some of them. 26 And they spoke to the king of the Assyrians, saying, The nations whom thou hast removed and substituted in the cities of Samaria for the Israelites, know not the manner of the God of the land: and he has sent the lions against them, and, behold, they are slaying them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land. 27And the king of the Assyrians commanded, saying, Bring some Israelites thence, and let them go and dwell there, and they shall teach them the manner of the God of the land. 28 And they brought one of the priests whom they had removed from Samaria, and he settled in Baethel, and taught them how they should fear יהוה . 29 But the nations made each their own gods, and put them in the house of the high places which the Samaritans had made, each nation in the cities in which they dwelt. 30 And the men of Babylon made Socchoth Benith, and the men of Chuth made Ergel, and the men of Haemath made Asimath. 3 1And the Evites made Eblazer and Tharthac, and the inhabitant of Seppharvaim did evil when they burnt their sons in the fire to Adramelech and Anemelech, the gods of Seppharvaim. 32 And they feared יהוה, yet they established their abominations in the houses of the high places which they made in Samaria, each nation in the city in which they dwelt: and they feared יהוה, and they made for themselves priests of the high places, and sacrificed for themselves in the house of the high places. 33 And they feared יהוה, and served their gods according to the manner of the nations, whence their lords brought them. 34 Until this day they did according to their manner: they fear יהוה, and they do according to their customs, and according to their manner, and according to the law, and according to the commandment which יהוה commanded the sons of Jacob, whose name he made Israel. 35 And יהוה made a covenant with them, and charged them, saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, neither shall ye worship them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them: 36 but only to יהוה, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great strength and with a high arm: him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship; to him shall ye sacrifice. 37 Ye shall observe continually the ordinances, and the judgments, and the law, and the commandments which he wrote for you to do; and ye shall not fear other gods. 38 Neither shall ye forget the covenant which he made with you: and ye shall not fear other gods. 39 But ye shall fear יהוה your Elohim, and he shall deliver you from all your enemies. 40 Neither shall ye comply with their practice, which they follow. 41 So these nations feared יהוה, and served their graven images: yea, their sons and their son's sons do until this day even as their fathers did.
Here we can see some of the strife and hatred between Judah and Ephraim (Samaria). The intermingling of the Assyrians with the tribe of Ephraim with this came the fulfilment of Prophecy if you don’t clear them from your land you will begin to worship their gods. The sons of Ephraim kept the same laws and feasts as the Jews but they involved Idols and strange gods along with altered ceremonies.
John 8:42-44
42יהושע said to them, “If Elohim were your Father, you would love Me, for I came forth from Elohim, and am here. For I have not come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 “Why do you not know what I say? Because you are unable to hear My Word. 44 “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you wish to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 “And because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 “Who of you proves Me wrong concerning sin? And if I speak the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 “He who is of Elohim hears the Words of Elohim, therefore you do not hear because you are not of Elohim.” 48 The Yehudim answered and said to Him, “Do we not say well that You are a Shomeronite and have a demon?”
John 4:4-26
4 He had to pass through Shomeron. 5 So He came to a city of Shomeron, called Shekem, near the piece of land Yaaqob gave to his son Yoseph. 6 And Yaaqob’s fountain was there. So יהושע, being wearied from the journey, was sitting thus at the fountain. It was about the sixth hour. 7 A woman of Shomeron came to draw water. יהושע said to her, “Give Me to drink.” 8 For His taught ones had gone off into the city to buy food. 9 The woman of Shomeron therefore said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Yehudite, ask a drink from me, a woman of Shomeron?” For Yehudim do not associate with Shomeronites. 10יהושע answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of Elohim, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me to drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” 11 The woman said to Him, “Master, You have no vessel, and the well is deep. From where, then, do You have living water? 12 “Are You greater than our father Yaaqob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, and his sons, and his cattle?” 13יהושע answered and said to her, “Everyone drinking of this water shall thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water I give him shall certainly never thirst. And the water that I give him shall become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” 15 The woman said to Him, “Master, give me this water, so that I do not thirst, nor come here to draw.” 16יהושע said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.” 17 The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.” יהושע said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’ 18 for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband. What you have said is true.” 19 The woman said to Him, “Master, I see that You are a prophet. 20 “Our fathers worshipped on this mountain, but you people say that in Yerushalayim is the place where one needs to worship.” 21יהושע said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you shall neither on this mountain, nor in Yerushalayim, worship the Father. 22 “You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because the deliverance is of the Yehudim 23 “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father also does seek such to worship Him. 24 “Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth.” 25 The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming, the One who is called Anointed. When that One comes, He shall announce to us all.” 26יהושע said to her, “I who am speaking to you am He.”
This is why we see in Ezekiel’s Prophecy one stick of Ephraim and one of Judah. He will remove their idols and false teachings and correct their ways and bring them together.
Acts 8:4-25
4 Then those who had been scattered went everywhere bringing the Good News: the Word! 5 And going down to the city of Shomeron Philip proclaimed Messiah to them. 6 And the crowds with one mind heeded what Philip said, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7 For unclean spirits came out of many who were possessed, crying with a loud voice, and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8 And there came to be great joy in that city. 9 Now there was a certain man called Shimon, who formerly was practicing magic in the city and astonishing the people of Shomeron, claiming to be someone great, 10 to whom they all were giving heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This one is the power of Elohim, which is great.” 11 And they were giving heed to him because for a long time he had amazed them with his magic. 12 And when they believed Philip as he brought the Good News about the reign of Elohim and the Name of יהושע Messiah, both men and women were immersed. 13 And Shimon himself also believed. And when he was immersed he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which took place. 14 And when the emissaries who were at Yerushalayim heard that Shomeron had received the Word of Elohim, they sent Kepha and Yohanan to them, 15 who, when they had come down, prayed for them to receive the Set-apart Spirit, 16 for He had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been immersed in the Name of the Master יהושע. 17 Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Set-apart Spirit. 18 And Shimon, seeing that through the laying on of the hands of the emissaries the Set-apart Spirit was given, he offered them money, 19 saying, “Give me this authority too, so that anyone I lay hands on shall receive the Set-apart Spirit.” 20 But Kepha said to him, “Let your silver perish with you, because you thought to buy the gift of Elohim through money! 21 “You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is not right before Elohim. 22 “Repent therefore of this evil of yours, and plead with Elohim to forgive you the intention of your heart. 23 “For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by unrighteousness.” 24 But Shimon answering, said, “Plead with the Master for me, so that none of what you had said shall come upon me.” 25 Then after they had earnestly witnessed and spoken the Word of יהוה, they returned to Yerushalayim, bringing the Good News in many villages of the Shomeronites.
Luke 22:14-23
14 And when the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve emissaries with Him. 15 And He said to them, “With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before My suffering, 16 for I say to you, I shall certainly not eat of it again until it is filled in the reign of Elohim.” 17 And taking the cup, giving thanks, He said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves, 18 for I say to you, I shall certainly not drink of the fruit of the vine until the reign of Elohim comes.” 19 And taking bread, giving thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you, do this in remembrance of Me.” 20 Likewise the cup also, after supper, saying, “This cup is the New Covenant in My blood which is shed for you. 21 “But see, the hand of him delivering Me up is with Me on the table. 22 “For indeed the Son of Adam goes as it has been decreed, but woe to that man by whom He is delivered up!” 23 And they began to ask among themselves, which of them it could be who was about to do this.
1 Corinthians 11:23-25
23 For I received from the Master that which I also delivered to you: that the Master יהושע in the night in which He was delivered up took bread, 24 and having given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat, this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the New Covenant in My blood. As often as you drink it, do this in remembrance of Me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the death of the Master until He comes.
When we celebrate the Pesach we are claiming the blood of יהושע. Which is the blood of the New Covenant.
Hebrews 8:1-13
1 Now the summary of what we are saying is: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Greatness in the heavens, 2 and who serves in the set-apart place and of the true Tent, which יהוה set up, and not man. 3 For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and slaughters. So it was also necessary for this One to have somewhat to offer. 4 For if indeed He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are priests who offer the gifts according to the Torah, 5 who serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly, as Mosheh was warned when he was about to make the Tent. For He said, “See that you make all according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” 6 But now He has obtained a more excellent service, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was constituted on better promises. 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. 8 For finding fault with them, He says, “See, the days are coming,” says יהוה, “when I shall conclude with the house of Yisra’el and with the house of Yehudah a New Covenant, 9 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Mitsrayim, because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them,” says יהוה .10“Because this is the covenant that I shall make with the house of Yisra’el after those days, says יהוה, giving My Torah in their mind, and I shall write them on their hearts, and I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people. 11 “And they shall by no means teach each one his neighbor, and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know יהוה,’ because they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. 12 “Because I shall forgive their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall no longer remember.” 13 By saying, ‘new,’ He has made the first old. Now what becomes old and growing aged is near disappearing.
So who is at fault? It wasn’t His fault the covenant failed. It was our fault you can see in verse 9 that His People refused to keep it. His people collectively chose not to follow and keep his ways. Paul quotes Jeremiah 31 about how people will be in The New Covenant.
Hebrews 10:15-22
15 And the Set-apart Spirit also witnesses to us, for after having said before, 16 “This is the covenant that I shall make with them after those days, says יהוה, giving My Torah into their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them,” 17 and, “Their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall remember no more.” 18 Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer a slaughter offering for sin. 19 So, brothers, having boldness to enter into the Set-apart Place by the blood of יהושע, 20 by a new and living way which He instituted for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the House of Elohim, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in completeness of belief, having our hearts sprinkled from a wicked conscience and our bodies washed with clean water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our expectation without yielding, for He who promised is trustworthy. 24 And let us be concerned for one another in order to stir up love and good works 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging, and so much more as you see the Day coming near. 26 For if we sin purposely after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a slaughter offering for sins 27 but some fearsome anticipation of judgment, and a fierce fire which is about to consume the opponents. 28 Anyone who has disregarded the Torah of Mosheh dies without compassion on the witness of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse punishment do you think shall he deserve who has trampled the Son of Elohim underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was set apart as common, and insulted the Spirit of favor?
Paul is showing us how יהושע has become our Sin Sacrifice, and the physical slaughtering has been completed by The Messiah. Although now sinning effectively tramples on the blood of יהושע and the favor and grace of יהוה. He has made it easy for us think of the financial burden, the amount of work on your end, and the fact there would be zero animals left in this world due to everyone’s sin. They have made it easier on us to keep His ways and be forgiven when we give into the flesh. There will come a time when this is no longer needed because His People will be made anew and enter the kingdom.
When these new Covenants are given do the previous ones every go away?
When Abraham was given The Promise and went in to Covenant did Noah's Covenant to not destroy the earth by water again get removed?
When the Israelites went into a New Covenant did the requirements of The Promise of Abraham get revoked, removed or abandoned?
Galatians 3:14-29
14 in order that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the nations in Messiah יהושע, to receive the promise of the Spirit through belief. 15 Brothers, as a man I say it: a covenant, even though it is man’s, yet if it is confirmed, no one sets it aside, or adds to it. 16 But the promises were spoken to Abraham, and to his Seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Messiah. 17 Now this I say, the Torah, that came four hundred and thirty years later, does not annul a covenant previously confirmed by Elohim in Messiah, so as to do away with the promise. 18 For if the inheritance is by Torah, it is no longer by promise, but Elohim gave it to Abraham through a promise. 19 Why, then, the Torah? It was added because of transgressions, until the Seed should come to whom the promise was made. And it was ordained through messengers in the hand of a mediator. 20 The Mediator, however, is not of one, but Elohim is one. 21 Is the Torah then against the promises of Elohim? Let it not be! For if a Torah had been given that was able to make alive, truly righteousness would have been by Torah. 22 But the Scripture has shut up all mankind under sin, that the promise by belief in יהושע Messiah might be given to those who believe. 23 But before belief came, we were being guarded under Torah, having been shut up for the belief being about to be revealed. 24 Therefore the Torah became our trainer unto Messiah, in order to be declared right by belief. 25 And after belief has come, we are no longer under a trainer. 26 For you are all sons of Elohim through belief in Messiah יהושע. 27 For as many of you as were immersed into Messiah have put on Messiah. 28 There is not Yehudite nor Greek, there is not slave nor free, there is not male and female, for you are all one in יהושע Messiah. 29 And if you are of Messiah, then you are seed of Abraham, and heirs according to promise.
1 Chronicles 5:1-2
1 And the sons of Ruben the first-born of Israel (for he was the first-born; but because of his going up to his father's couch, his father gave his blessing to his son Joseph, even the son of Israel; and he was not reckoned as first-born; 2 for Judas was very mighty even among his brethren, and one was to be a ruler out of him: but the blessing was Joseph's).
As we can see just because you are the first born doesn’t always guarantee you will receive the blessing and birthright. If you choose disobedience, you can be stripped of it. Just like Paul states countless times keeping The Torah alone, just like being firstborn doesn’t automatically qualify you for the blessings you must have love. Rueben when taking his father’s wife had no respect or love for him. Because of his actions his rights as firstborn were annulled.

Clearly Paul states in vs 17 that old Covenants are not done away with when a New Covenant is cut, but still applicable. You can see that he declares there Is no Jew, Greek, Gentile, race or color if your of The Messiah. Those who are of The Messiah are the seed of Abraham.
Who are you?
We have been given an opportunity to enter into Covenant. Just like the ten virgins who were given the opportunity to enter into a Marriage Covenant.
Matthew 25:1-13
1 “Then the reign of the heavens shall be compared to ten maidens who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 “And five of them were wise, and five foolish. 3 “Those who were foolish, having taken their lamps, took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their containers with their lamps. 5 “Now while the bridegroom took time, they all slumbered and slept. 6 “And at midnight a cry was heard, ‘See, the bridegroom is coming, go out to meet him!’ 7 “Then all those maidens rose up and trimmed their lamps. 8 “And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ 9 “But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, indeed, there would not be enough for us and you. Instead, go to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 “And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut. 11 “And later the other maidens also came, saying, ‘Master, Master, open up for us!’ 12 “But he answering, said, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 “Watch therefore, because you do not know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Adam is coming
We have to understand how to be prepared and what we need to be ready. The Torah instructs us unto The Messiah. We need to be walking in His ways to be acceptable. So what does that mean for us? Well we are in a stage of our relationship, Ketubah (engagement). The bible used aras (strongs 781) this word means to betroth.
As a society we have lost the true meaning of marriage and engagement due to our understanding and world view. We have made this into something of less significance. We see in multiple stories how men would work for years just to marry a woman. In their time of working, they would be considered aras, meaning they have entered into a formal agreement to marry. Even though they were not married they were treated as married only to refrain from completing the marriage contract. They did everything a married couple would do except the wedding bed. We can see this being proved true in the time of The Messiah. In the book of Matthew we see that after Jospeh finds out Mary is pregnant he decides to divorce her quietly even though they are not officially married yet.
Matthew 1:18-21
18 But the birth of יהושע Messiah was as follows: After His mother Miryam was engaged to Yoseph, before they came together, she was found to be pregnant from the Set-apart Spirit. 19 And Yoseph her husband, being righteous, and not wishing to make a show of her, had in mind to put her away secretly. 20 But while he thought about this, see, a messenger of יהוה appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Yoseph, son of Dawid, do not be afraid to take Miryam as your wife, for that which is in her was brought forth from the Set-apart Spirit. 21“And she shall give birth to a Son, and you shall call His Name יהושע for He shall save His people from their sins.”
This is because Joseph is in aras, or modern Hebrew, ketubah or kiddushin, these both mean an agreement between a man and a woman to be married in accordance with the Torah. Joseph is treating his engagement with Mary as a marriage as we all should. Just as Jospeh and Mary were being regarded as married, we too should take on this mindset with The Messiah. We must look at what was asked and commanded of us, so we know how to act, dress, walk, talk, think and even eat.
This kind of sounds like being Set Apart doesn’t it?
So why bring this up?
John 13:15
“For I gave you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
יהושע was speaking to His Disciples while washing their feet speaking about how a True Master should serve his people, but this is so much deeper, We can see He wasn’t just speaking on feet washing He is our Example and Paul understands and comments on
this point.
Hebrews 12:1-8
1 We too, then, having so great a cloud of witnesses all around us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race set before us, 2 looking to the Princely Leader and Perfecter of our belief, יהושע, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the stake, having despised the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of Elohim. 3 For consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and faint in your lives. 4 You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And you have forgotten the appeal which speaks to you as to sons, “My son, do not despise the discipline of יהוה, nor faint when you are reproved by Him, 6 for whom יהוה loves, He disciplines, and flogs every son whom He receives.”7 If you endure discipline, Elohim is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom a father does not discipline? 8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become sharers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.
If we don’t use יהושע as our perfect example, we will fail. If we recognize our actions as sin, understand who we are as a people. Choose to repent and return we will have to deal with the consequences of our actions. The Father will discipline us. This is not some scary thing that we need to fear and worry about. This should be a release. Like when the truth finally comes out, and you can relax your shoulders and breath deep, ready deal with whatever comes next. Repentance is required and discipline reminds us of the evil in our actions. This is how we mold ourselves into the bride of יהושע. This is how we become worthy of Him. This is how we become Echad (one) with Him.
If we don’t know who we are or what authority we are under, then we don’t know the standard that applies to us? We wont understand what we are being compared to and judged against? If we don’t know the standard how can you be found worthy in His eyes?
Exodus 24:3-8
3 And Moses went in and related to the people all the words of Elohim and the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, saying, All the words which יהוה has spoken, we will do and be obedient. 4 And Moses wrote all the words of יהוה; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the mountain, and set up twelve stones for the twelve tribes of Israel. 5 And he sent forth the young men of the children of Israel, and they offered whole burnt-offerings, and they sacrificed young calves as a peace-offering to Elohim. 6 And Moses took half the blood and poured it into bowls, and half the blood he poured out upon the altar. 7 And he took the book of the covenant (Torah) and read it in the ears of the people, and they said, All things whatsoever יהוה has spoken we will do and hearken therein. 8 And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it upon the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which יהוה has made with you concerning all these words.
His People know their standard.
So in summary we are engaged to יהושע waiting for His return. We are the 10 Virgins. We can either be the wise virgins being prepared, or like the others who were attempting to rely on the preparations of others. As we are waiting, we need to look back at our fathers and see what was agreed upon for His people to look, act, talk do and not do. For this we would need to look in The Torah and Covenants made with our fathers along the way, some to confirm, some instruct and others to inform. We are as Paul states waiting for the old to disappear and the new to appear.
Revelation 19:6-10
6 And I heard as the voice of a great crowd, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunders, saying, “Halleluyah, for יהוה El Shaddai reigns! 7 “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him praise, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife prepared herself.” 8 And to her it was given to be dressed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteousness of the set-apart ones. 9 And he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to me, “These are the true words of Elohim.” 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “See, do not do it! I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who possess the witness of יהושע. Worship Elohim! For the witness of יהושע is the spirit of prophecy.”
Once יהושע returns for his Bride and takes her and has the marriage supper and removes all unrighteousness from the earth.
We can look back at the prophets I used in this study to give us a picture of what The New Covenant looks like. We don’t need teachers we won’t need to read the Torah we won’t need to be told wrong and right, we won’t need to be told about The Father for we will all know. All of this will be written on our hearts and in our mind. We will be gathered with all our brothers and sisters throughout all the years from around the world.
Matthew 25:31-46
31 “And when the Son of Adam comes in His esteem, and all the set-apart messengers with Him, then He shall sit on the throne of His esteem. 32 “And all the nations shall be gathered before Him, and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats. 33 “And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 “Then the Sovereign shall say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the reign prepared for you from the foundation of the world – 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, 36 was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me, I was in prison and you came to Me.’ 37 “Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, ‘Master, when did we see You hungry and we fed You, or thirsty and gave You to drink? 38 ‘And when did we see You a stranger and took You in, or naked and clothed You? 39‘And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and we came to You?’ 40 “And the Sovereign shall answer and say to them, ‘Truly, I say to you, in so far as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.’ 41 “He shall then also say to those on the left hand, ‘Go away from Me, accursed ones, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his messengers 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food, I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink, 43 ‘I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, was naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ 44 “Then they also shall answer Him, saying, ‘Master, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not serve You?’ 45 “Then He shall answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, in so far as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46“And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into everlasting life.”
I hope the words of this study have reached into your Nephesh and ignites an unquenchable fire for the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. So that you too one day will come to The Father.
